    Dear Parents

    Greetings!

    With reference to our previous letters ELOP_SPSMV dated 30th March 2020 and Letter
    to students(W) dated 1st April 2020, the school wishes to further communicate to you
    the following procedures in order to guide the students to take the online classes without
    any hassles.

    1. Downloading ZOOM application for attending Online Classes and joining


    Google Classroom:

    It is highly recommended that you have a high-speed internet connection at your


    home to view the online lectures. Also, ensure that during the lecture, no other
    device is using the internet connection for high data intensive things like
    video streaming, online games, etc. This is very important to ensure that you
    are able to watch the lecture without any break in video and sound.
     Kindly download ‘Zoom Client for Meetings’ from https://zoom.us/download
    today, so that online classes can be conducted from 7th April 2020. 6th April
    being Mahavir Jayanti will be observed as a holiday.
     Everyday setup to be done 10 minutes before: Please ensure that your
    ward is ready with the setup around 10 minutes before the start of the class.
     Attendance: Make sure the candidate is there with his actual name in
    Google Classroom and Zoom. In Google classroom, you can change it by
    modifying it in Gmail account’s personal Info. And in Zoom you can register
    with Child’s name. (You can change this even after joining, by using
    “Rename” feature which you can find by going in “Participants” menu and
    clicking over your name. We will remove students who have not saved their
    name in the manner above.) The attendance will be taken individually for
    each scheduled period.
     How can you get your Doubts Solved during the lecture: Use the “Raise
    Hand” feature of Zoom, to ask your doubts. The Teacher will clear your
    doubts as soon as they can. But please understand that in order to keep
    your learning experience effective, ask only those questions which are
    relevant to the current topic being taught and are critical for your
    understanding.
     Procedure of joining the Google classroom:
    a. Accept the invites sent by the teachers.
    b. After accepting invites, kindly use Gmail ids provided by yourself to login to
    https://classroom.google.com
    c. Click on your class and first observe the ‘Stream’ section for daily
    announcements, which may include:
    i. Link of Zoom’s session planned for next day ( You should click the link
    to join as per the date and time mentioned. The Zoom class may be
    pre scheduled by the teacher to conduct hassle free sessions.)
    ii. Worksheets (PDF/Documents/Images/PPT)
    iii. Assignments/Quiz/Questions
    iv. Study Material
    v. Links to YouTube or other videos
     The Zoom session is to be attended strictly as per time allotted.
    Worksheets/Assignments/ Study Material or other links can be observed as
    homework and can be done after online classes.
     Assignments can be done on a paper/register and clear picture of the same
    can be uploaded or typed assignment can also be uploaded.
    For further queries you can write to the class teacher. Your support is
    essential at this time of crisis to ensure that your ward’s learning
    experience is best as possible.

    2. Accessing the Books:

    The school has arranged access to the following books. You are requested to
    download the books before the classes begin to ensure the smooth learning.

    The time table will be updated to you by the class teacher on class email group.
    4. Points to be noted:

     Please note that attendance in the online classes is mandatory. The topics covered
    in the same will not be repeated.

     Accepting the invite sent by the teachers is mandatory to join the google classroom.

     You are requested to monitor the child’s performance and discipline during the
    Zoom session to ensure their joyful learning.

     Parents are requested to monitor their wards work on daily basis and send the
    same to be checked by the subject teacher as soon as the school reopens.
