During this two-month graduation internship, I was able to grow up and have a lot of
experience in the job. The internship opportunity I had with PTSC was a great chance for
leading and professional development. Therefore, I consider myself a very lucky individual to
be provided with this opportunity. I am so grateful people who led me through this internship
period.

This is the 16th member company of the PTSC Corporation established on the basis of
separation from PTSC Production Services, with the main function of providing
connection, test, operation and maintenance services for companies. and other
industrial processes with full name are: "PTSC Offshore Service Construction and
Maintenance Service Company Limited" with international transaction name: PTSC
OFFSHORE SERVICES COMPANY LIMITED (name The abbreviation is POS Co.,
Ltd.).

The Company's head office is located at PetroVietnam Tower, 8 Hoang Dieu, Tp.
Vung Tau. Charter capital: VND 25,000,000,000 (Twentyfive billion Vietnamese

regionally. Implementing the resolution of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group’s
Board of Direction on the increase of development and in accordance with the
orientation and development strategy of PTSC Corporation. Aiming to specialize in oil
and gas services, improve service quality and business efficiency, September 28, 2007,
Join Stock Company of PTSC Petroleum Installation Operation and Maintenance
(POS) was established on the basis of the decision No.235/QĐ-DVKT-HDQT of the
Council management of Petro Vietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and
business registration certificate No.4904000173, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Deparment of
Planning and Investment issued on October 5, 2007.

PTSC Offshore is a member company directly under PTSC Corporation


established on the basis of separation from PTSC Production Services with main
function to provide connection services, installation, Operation and Maintenance
offshore facilities for oil and gas projects and other industries.

The charter of the company is 400 billion VND.

All POS operations are certified by Det Norske Veritas according to the
international accepted standard codes, IOS 9001 – Quality Management system, IOS
1400 – Environmental Management System to meet the requirements of the ISM code
and ISPS code for safe management of maritime safety and pollution prevention.

CHAPTER II: TASK DESCRIPTIONS


My job is to work in the human resources department. To adapt and understand with this
position was not easy as I thought. But with this job, I could be better contacting with
everybody, training myself become more independent, agile and more careful at work even
when working under high pressure (things that I have ever done well before).

In summary, this job doesn’t requires appearance too much, it’s need ability to remain calm
and highly focused when working. Especially, the human resources department must have
specific knowledge and be able to communicate well. Hence, I like this job, it gave me a
patient virtue, professionally working style.

I spent 3 weeks training in PTSC Supply Base Company Limited. I went 5 days a week. And
my working timetable is dependent on the working timetable of the company.
Office time: - In the morning: from 8 am to 12am

Talking about the context of the establishment of 1TV Co., Ltd. Services of
Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Marine Petroleum Projects PTSC could not
help but look back on the history of formation and development of the Corporation
Technical Services Corporation Petroleum Engineering (PTSC), a member of the
Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, with more than 15 years of operation in the oil
and gas industry, can see the extremely strong development potential of PTSC,
affirmed set by impressive annual revenue figures and continue to conquer the
challenging targets assigned by the National Oil and Gas Group.

PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), a member of Vietnam National
Oil and Gas Group, was established in February 1993 on the basis of merging 2 units,
Petroleum Services Company. (PSC - established in1986) and Petroleum Geophysical
and Services Company (GPTS - established in 1976) called Petroleum Technical
Services Company. In December 2006, the Company was transformed into a joint
stock company under a decision of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. On February 9,
2007, PTSC was officially equitized, transformed into PetroVietnam Technical
Services Joint Stock Corporation, operating under the parent-subsidiary model. PTSC
first offered shares to the market (IPO) in October 2006 and until September 2007,
PTSC shares (stock code PVS) officially traded on the Hanoi Stock Exchange,
marking A new turning point for the development of PTSC.
In the context of the world oil and gas industry market, there are many big fluctuations
affected by two main reasons. One is the world economy due to the severe crisis at the
end of 2007. The other is affected by the growth of American, Chinese and Western
European industries as well as the political instability in the Central countries. Bronze.

CHAPTER III: EXPERIENCE

Internships are the last step that graduates must take. Understandably, it is a
practical job that helps learners have basic experience about the career you are
choosing.
Through two months training at PTSC Supply Base Company Limited, I have
learned a lot valuable working experience and soft skills. In my opinion, these
precious experience will help me a lot for my career in future.
These two months are not only the first step but also a good chance for me to
understand more about how a company works, to find out and fix what I’m still
missing, to avoid mistakes in the process of working now and in the future. Help me to
get acquainted with people, actively find out about internships, proactively propose
and work with everyone. All of them help me quickly integrate into the new
environment.
When coming to the internship, each person has a different job, not everyone
has the time to follow closely, wholeheartedly just for us. So being active in
everything helps me seize the opportunity and learn from many practical things.
Draw experience from priceless lessons from reality
Internships are the times when apprentices understand more about what the future jobs
we have to do. Being able to work in real life, giving the opportunity to apply the
knowledge at school that we call theory.
This will help you quickly see your own flaw and promptly fix it. At the same time,
with the help of experienced seniors, it is a valuable opportunity to step by step plan
your own future.
I have gotten many interesting and meaningful lessons from my works and my
“colleagues” (actually the senior) who work around and gave me some useful helps. I
not only had many chances to improve my knowledge and experience in collect and
summarize information related to bid request, participate in the work related to
commercial contract in projects, but also could be accessed to many modern
equipment and professional environment.

But for reasons of lacking experiences, I met with many difficulties. However, with
the help of the supervisors, I had overcome those challenges and gained positive
results.
This experience had helped me to improve my professional writing skill. I am
becoming familiar with structures, grammar in writing report and how to effectively
enrich my vocabulary. I also learned common English phrases in official document
which is very useful for my future job. In addition, I practiced English translation to
translate materials and contracts of the company so I can learn many specialized words
as phrases.
I also know learned how to use office machine, such as printer, photo copied.
Moreover, I learned how to work more effective and fluently on Excel and Gmail in
working. Although those look simple and they also gave me difficulties when I have to
do it my by myself. I also learned how so many skill in dealing with customers and
working more effectively with others staffs.
Moreover, in spite of short time of training process ( two month), I feel more
confident and patient than before. I also learned some good characteristics like
attentiveness, loyalty, maturity, a positive attitude, keep calm to be able to handle any
problems that arise in the word possible situations and independence.
Hopefully, they will be good keys for my next step for my career in future.

CHAPTER IV: CONCLUSION

There is a long distance from the theory to the practice. It was the reason for my
nervous and worried feeling. In the first week, I have faced my difficulties. However,
when working in the friendly and professional environment. I was in tune for task
quickly. The enthusiastic help and whole-hearted instruction of the guides made me
feel more confident and more active in the work.

My supervisor, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nhung gave me many useful and valuable
lessons and skills when I have some trouble. Since that time, I gathered a lot of
experience for myself. After a period of practice, if you try your best and always be
proactive in everything, then the values you get in the future will be many times more
than the effort you spend. Practicing is not only a time for you to learn, but it is also a
great opportunity for you to show your ability> If done well, you have shown people
that you are really suitable for this job may be an invitation to become an official
employee when we graduate.
The benefits that the internship brings will definitely help students with a different
perspective. Don't waste time practicing because every day will teach you a lesson,
bring you new experiences to help you grow more and more in your career. In this
report, there are many precious experiences which I would like to share everyone who
will receipt next internship period: Firstly, it is necessary to have confident. Secondly,
it is good idea for you to follow guide’s instruction. Finally, a serious and enthusiasm
attitude will get well pay.
