Dear Name,

On behalf of Company Name, (hereinafter called “Company”), we are pleased to offer you formally an
appointment as a <Position> starting on <start date>.

The offer is conditional upon you accepting all the terms below:-

1. Your employment is subject to a satisfactory medical report from a General Practitioner


certifying that you are fit for employment.

WORKING ADDRESS

2. You will begin work on <start date> at <company address>.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD

3. You are subject to a probation period of Three (3) months from <start> to <end>, during which
time either party has the right to terminate the employment at any point in time within the
probation period. Without any notices or compensation by way of wages, other than for time
worked. Your performance shall be reviewed periodically. Such review to be at the sole
discretion of <COMPANY>.

SALARY, TAP & SCP

4. You will receive a salary of BND$XXXX per month payable in arrears at the end of each calendar
month.

5. You are required to join Supplementary Contributory Pension Scheme, in which you will make
contributions in accordance with the and Supplementary Contributory Pension Order.

6. The Company contribution to Supplementary Contributory Pension will be funded by

WORKING HOURS

7. Your work schedules are Monday through Fridays, 0800hrs to 1700hrs or 0800hrs, the schedule
of which to be decided by <company>, and Saturdays 0800hrs to 1200hrs. You are to work a
period of eight-hour days, with a meal break of two hours between 1200hrs to 1400hrs.

8. Notwithstanding the aforementioned standby times, you may be required to work extra or
longer hours or perform other duties than the specified, as may from time to time become

9. You may also from time to time be assigned to additional duties, without receiving any
additional remuneration, and/or be transferred to other departments/sections at any time at
the discretion of <company>,.

DURATION OF CONTRACT

10. This contract is valid for a period of two (2) years and may be renewed/extended accordingly.

ANNUAL/COMPASSIONATE/SICK LEAVE

11. You will be entitled to twenty-one (21) working day of paid annual leave.

a. Except as otherwise agreed by <COMPANY>, no leave may be taken after notice of


termination of employment has been given by either you or <COMPANY> and, any leave
previously approved but not yet taken, shall be cancelled upon the issue of such notice
of termination. No payment will be given for any unconsumed leave except that which
has been accrued up to the date of termination.

12. You are entitled up to a maximum of Seven (7) working days of paid medical (sick) leave per
year. In the event that you need to take a medical leave, you are required to inform the office
before 0900hrs on the day that you will be absent. A Medical Certificate from a qualifies medical
practitioner must be submitted the next day in any situation where a medical leave has been
taken. Failure to adhere to this requirement shall be regarded as a gross default on your part
and a material breach of this employment contract.

13. You are entitled up to three (3) days of compassionate leave following any unforeseen event.
TERMINATION/RESIGNATION NOTICE

14. Your employment may be terminated by either party giving to the other not less than three (3)
months notice in writing.

a. Your employment may be terminated by <COMPANY> without notice:

i. if you are guilty of any gross default of misconduct in connection with or


affecting your employment by <COMPANY>;

ii. if you become bankrupt;

iii. if you commit serious or repeated breaches or non-observance of any kind of


the stipulations or requirement herein contained or made known to you by
<COMPANY> in the course of employment;

iv. if you commit any irresistible criminal offence and <COMPANY> thinks it will
affect your position;

v. if you commit any act whatsoever in breach of the terms of your employment
which is materially detrimental to <COMPANY>’s interest;

vi. if you falsify reports, accounts, expense claims or self-certification forms; and

vii. if your seriously breach confidentiality, or have unauthorized possession of


Property of <COMPANY>.

b. Upon termination of your employment, you shall immediately:

i. return all materials, equipment and property (including documents) whatsoever


belonging to or provided by <COMPANY> in the course of your employment
with <COMPANY>;

and

ii. resign from all/any other office which you may hold in connection with your
employment hereunder without any compensation for loss of office and shall
for
this purpose return all notices, letters, documents and instruments required by
<COMPANY>.

c. In the event of a summary termination of your employment on any of the grounds, your
employment will cease immediately and any monetary claims that you may have been
entitled shall be forfeited absolutely.
CONFIDENTIALITY UNDERTAKING

1. You acknowledge that in the course of your employment by <COMPANY>, you will have access
to and be entrusted with information in respect of the business of <COMPANY> related directly
or indirectly to <COMPANY> and all its dealings, transactions and affairs all of which information
is or may be confidential.

a. You shall not during or after the period of your employment, and for a period of one (1)
year thereafter, disclose or divulge to any person or otherwise make use of (and shall
use

your best endeavours to prevent the disclosure of) any information about <COMPANY>,
its directors, shareholders and associated or any trade secret or any confidential
information concerning <COMPANY>, or any clients, suppliers, agents, distributors or
customers of <COMPANY>.

b. Any breach of this duty on confidentiality shall be regarded as gross misconduct on your
part and shall result in your immediate dismissal from employment.

If this employment is acceptable to you, please sign a copy of this letter and return it to us within Seven
(7) days. I look forward to having you join our Company.
