The document discusses 3M Mechanical Shearbolt Connectors, which are designed to connect a wide range of conductor sizes from 2 AWG to 1250 kcmil. The connectors provide excellent performance and do not require specialty tools for installation.

The connectors have greater contact force than standard shearbolt connectors. They also have contact disks to prevent conductor damage and continuous shearing bolts that do not require filing. They are sized for American wire gauges and tapered ends allow for smooth transitions to cables.

No specialty tools are needed for installation. Simply slide the connector over the conductor and tighten the bolts until they shear. The bolts shear below the connector surface.
