Now a days, in our generation, engaging of teenagers in premarital sex is seems so normal;

this problem is the one who urges the numbee of teenage pregnancy, abortion and even acquiring of
Human Immuno Deficiency or also known as HIV. I can say that pre-marital sex is seems to be normal to
us because a lot of my fellow teenagers, old school and classmates and other friends of mine admit that
they are sexually active and some of them are proud of that doings. I also noticed and received a lot of
news that many of my old schoolmates are already getting pregnant at the young age. Knowing that
kind of news somehow got me feel sad and pity of them because in my perspective, engaging in pre-
marital sex is something that is not abiding the law of God; I also get sad to my fellow teenagers that got
pregnant at the young age because I know that it is difficult to raise a child when both of you are not yet
ready physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Today that we are living in a fastpaced universe
where all that we want to know we can now in an instant, where everything have been adopt easily and
this kind of problem should be immediately prevented before it worsened in the near future.
As a teenager, I am favor of the inclusion of sex education in High School curriculum
because sex education is primarily give awareness to the young people to the problem of early
pregnancies and other issues concerning to sexual activities. Sex instruction in schools is being given
expanding significance as it is known to advise understudies about issues identified with sex and sexual
wellbeing. It is viewed as significant for social orders that its people are well-educated about sex, sexual
practices, kid sexual maltreatment and explicitly transmitted ailments.
There are lot of pros and cons of the Sex Education, here are the pros of the Sex Education:
( Onlymyhealth, 2019)

Sex education in schools can help children understand the impact of sex in their lives. It dispels myths
related to sex and broadens their horizon.
It can also answer all the questions that they have regarding their changing body and hormonal surges.
Children are often inquisitive about the other gender. Sex education in school can help them understand
the differences and keep the desire to explore things for themselves in check.
Child sexual abuse is a social malice that is afflicting thousands worldwide. Sex education in schools can
play an active role in curbing the incidence of abuse as through this medium children can be made
aware of the difference between good and bad touch.
It is much better to teach children about sexual health in school rather letting them use other resources,
such as pornographic material and the internet. This is important because avenues, such as the internet
have a huge store of information that might be misleading.
With problems, such as teenage pregnancies and transmission of STDs on the rise, it is only appropriate
that sex education is made accessible in school so that the most number of children can be made aware.
It transforms children into responsible adults. It is a known fact that teenagers today turn sexually
active, therefore, sex education can help them understand the benefit of abstinence in the early years or
it can at least teach them how to be responsible sexually active people.
Sex education is important. Sex education does not encourage teenagers to have sex, it
does quite the opposite. It's been shown to help students, not hurt. Not only is having access to sex
education that is not only comprehensive but medically accurate a human right; it's our fundamental
duty as a society to educate the next generation. Currently, we are failing.
