SEALMASTER® PRIMARY & SECONDARY

FLOATING ROOF SEAL SYSTEMS

The SealMaster® floating roof seal system was developed over

25 years ago with the goal of making a seal that adjusts to the
irregularities of tanks while remaining gas tight and virtually
maintenance free. The solution is the SealMaster® seal system.

Key user benefits: Key design features:

Best available technology for emissions • Materials are product and UV resistant

KEY DESIGN FEATURES SEALMASTER® FEATURES
The SealMaster® is the best available technology in • Working range of R(-X/+3X) per guidance from
floating roof seals. Here’s why: EEMUA 159-BREF, to seal off the worst of tank shells.

Unsurpassed working range

Designed with a working range of R(-X/+3X) per EEMUA
159-BREF, which ensures that the seal will not gap, even
under extreme ovality and lateral forces from wind or
product turbulence.

Centers the floating roof and

dampens lateral roof movements
The SealMaster® is designed with fully-hardened stainless
steel spring plates. This material ensures excellent Water Shedder
centering of the floating roof—if the rim gap gets smaller
the seal exerts a progressively increasing force on the
tank-shell and vice versa. Keeping the roof centered is
critical to safe operation of any floating roof tank.
This same hardened steel provides the resistance
required to keep the floating roof from moving
excessively during windy conditions or under
turbulence from filling; this dampening capability is
also critical to safe and effective operations.
