COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and desirable
attitudes in ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II in accordance with
industry standards. It covers the core competencies in raising organic chicken,
producing organic vegetable, manufacturing (producing)organic fertilizers,
manufacturing (producing)various concoctions, raising organic hogs and raising
organic small ruminants. (goats)
TRAINEE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Trainees or students who wish to enroll posses the following requirements:
 Able to read and write
 With good moral character
 Ability to communicate both oral and written
 Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer
 Can perform basic computer operation

TRAINER’S QUALIFICATIONS FOR AGRI-FISHERY SECTOR


Trainers who will deliver the training on ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
PRODUCTION NC II should have the following :
• Must be a holder of National TVET Trainer Certificate I (TM I and NC)
• 1 year relevant industry experience
• 80 Hours teaching experience
• Holder of Training Certificates in:
o Developing Learning Materials for eLearning
o Facilitating eLearning Session
o Develop Learning Materials
