International Women's Day is celebrated globally to recognize women's economic, political, and social achievements and defend equal rights for women. However, women still face many problems like violence, harassment, lack of respect, and early/forced marriage in some societies. The document describes specific challenges faced by Amal, who is abused by her husband, and Sara, who lost her job after refusing her boss's romantic advances. While progress has been made, full equality and protection against discrimination have yet to be achieved for women worldwide.

International ‘s Women Day is a global day for women to celebrate their
economic, political and social achievements. It is a good occasion for women
to defend their rights to be equal to men. Thanks to this day, women all over the world walk in the street to say ‘no to violence,to polygamy and to discrimination’.
However, women still face a lot problems in their life and in
society. They are still victims of violence and sexual harassement at work and of course in the street.’I got married two years ago,my spouse doesn’t respect me,he hit me and insult everyday’,said Amal with tears in her eyes.Men still think a woman’s best place at home to clean clothes and take care of her children,no more.Plus, early marriage is still common in Morocco, especially in rural areas. If a woman chooses her husband, the family rarely accepts the idea, which causes a lot problems between the girl and her family.
Sara works in a small company. After she graduated from
university, she started working to help her family financially. She has a lot of trouble at work.’My boss always asks me for a love relationship and when I refused he fired me from my job. Now,I am jobless.
