Brand Center serves as a source of inspiration for everyone and simplifies everyone’s
jobs by making it easier and faster to take charge of documents. This houses multiple brands
that will co-exist for a wide variety of fashion trends in the time.
Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), is a Swedish clothing company. H&M is one of the biggest
fashion brand, having more than 4420 stores in 28 different countries around the world
including Philippines. The fashion company is known for offering latest style, inspiration and
quality fashion for all at the best prices in the market. Customers will find everything from
fashion pieces and unique designer collaborations to affordable wardrobe essentials,
complete-the-look accessories and motivational workout wear.
This fashion brand center aims start and create a fast-growing fashion trend in the
country so that the country will start to be the face of the major fashion contributors in South
East Asia. Many factors of the Filipinos are that they are fashionistas and passionate about
the ongoing trend of style. This project will boost local morale in fashion within the country
and give employment opportunities and attract tourist, both local and foreign. This can be
achieved by designing a complex and unique fashion brand center that will house multiple
famous and emerging fashion brands that will bring unique fashion trends around the world.
2.0 Case Studies
2.1 Local Project
A new design center for the international group known Xinhee in Xiamen City, China,
designed by the MAD Architects. The Design centre will serve as the home of Xinhee and its
six subsidiary brands. Mad Architects envisioned it as a building with skin-and-bones
structure.
The plan of the complex takes the shape of a six-pointed star. The design center has been
designed for maximum environmental awareness by adapting to the local climate. Thus, the
structure consists public garden with water features to provide ventilation within the structure.
