    Coin Sorter Machine With Combination Lock

    NOTE: - This is very effective machine. This machine can sort 1000 coins in just 2 min.

     Summary:

    The creation of the coin counting and sorting machine is existing for the purpose to help people
    record down the quantity and total value of coin and divide the coin to corresponding slot
    automatically. The concept of the coin counter is mostly based on the detection of the
    dimension, weight, edge of credit pulses by using sensor. The coin sorting tray is designed to
    sort different type of coins based on the size of coin in different denomination. For the old
    design of the device, it is just a simple mechanical construction that only has the basic function
    of counting and sorting the coin and it has many limitations such as the limit of quantity of coins
    and fails to identify different coins accurately. Nowadays, the high technology has shown the
    improvement to the counting and sorting machine as the modern device becomes more
    advanced to running the counting and sorting process. Now, the device has the characteristic of
    simplicity, convenience and high efficiency as the counting and sorting machine can be
    computerize and it brings speed and accuracy to us. The coin counting and sorting system can
    be found in various device like vending machine, washing machine, drinking machine, message
    chair to help the machine handle the work of coin counting and sorting.

     Materials Used: -

     Cardboard Sheets
     Cutter
     Hot glue gun
     DC motor
     ON/OFF switch
     9V battery
     Pencil & Scale / Ruler
     Matchsticks

    Procedure:

    Step 1: Cut Cardboard Pieces of Given Dimensions


    Step 2: Stick Together to Make a Box for Storage of Coins
    Step 3: Make Total 4 compartments. I will to Sort 4 Sizes of Coins
    Step 4: Cut Cardboard Pieces for Main Body
    Step 5: Stick Together to Build Main Body
    Step 6: Place 2 Cardboard Pieces at Equal Distance to Make Compartments
    for the 4 Boxes
    Step 7: Take the Cardboard Piece to Make the Sorting Mechanism
    Step 8: Make Thick Strip of Line Using Ruler and Pencil
    Step 9: Place Smallest Coin on Right Side and Mark the Circle Around It ,
    Similarly Do It for Next Bigger Circle and Leave the Biggest Coin untouched
    Step 10: Make Rectangular Blocks Around the Marked Circles
    Step 11: Cut Off the Rectangles and Place 1 Cm Cardboard Strip Vertically on
    the 0.3 Thick Strip
    Step 12: Stick the Mechanism
    Step 13: Place a Small Cardboard to Guide the Coins in Proper Slots ( for
    Testing)
    Step 14: Cover Up the Main Body to Make It Look Good
    Step 15: Cut the Piece and Take the Biggest Coin You Have
    Step 16: and make a gap so that only one coin can pass at a time.
    Step 17: Connect Them
    Step 18: I Sticked a Nut on the Shaft of the Dc Motor for vibration
    Step 19: Stick the Electrical Arrangement
    Step 20: Take a Cardboard Strip to Give the Support
    Step 21: Cover Up the Top Surface
    Step 22: Now we have to make lock for the collected coin compartment using
    combination of numbers.
    Step 23: And Your DIY Project Is Complete
