Verify the operation of a integrator circuit using op amp 741 and
show that it acts as a low pass filter.
Objectives:
 To verify the operation of a integrator circuit.
Components:
Function Generator.
DC Power Supply.
Op-Amp.
Resistors.
Capacitors
Oscilloscope.

Theory:
An op-amp integrator simulates mathematical integration, a summing process that determines
total area under curve.A circuit in which the output waveform is the integral of the input
wave is the integrator. Such a circuit is obtained by using a basic inverting amplifier
configuration.
The key thing about using an op-amp with an RC circuit to form an integrator is that the
capacitor charging current is made constant, thus producing a straight line(linear) voltage
rather than an exponential voltage [1].

Procedure:
 First of all, make a circuit as shown in fig.1.
 First Connect the Inverting Terminal with the function Generator.
 Connect the output terminal and input terminal of op-amp with oscilloscope.
 Set the input voltage at 1v and frequency at 1khz.
 Apply different input signals and Keep changing waveforms of input signal.
 Draw the input and output waveforms in oscilloscope for various input waveforms.
 Note the shapes of signals.
 Measure the input and output voltages for observation table.

Conclusion:
After perform this lab we come to know about the integrator circuit and the graphs for all
kind of input waveforms shows and proves the working and advantage of integrator circuit. It
verifies all the theoretical knowledge.
