The key takeaways are that adding weight to an object increases its speed of descent due to decreased air resistance and increased force of gravity.

The purpose of this experiment was to test whether adding weight to an object by attaching a paperclip would cause it to fall faster through the air.

Adding a paperclip decreased the average time for the helicopter to land, supporting the hypothesis that increased weight leads to faster descent by reducing air resistance.

The paper Helicopter Experiment

Introduction :gravity (the force that attracts a body

towards the centre of the earth, or towards any other
physical body having mass. the degree of intensity of
gravity, measured by acceleration. The speed of movement
of an object is directly proportional to the resultant force
of the outside world (or the gravity of the object itself) and
inversely proportional to the viscosity of the moving
medium of the object.(Gravity is the main reason why
everyone and everything sticks to Earth.)Air resistance
(describes the forces that are in opposition to the relative
motion of an object as it passes through the air. These
drag forces act opposite to the oncoming flow velocity,
thus slowing the object down.)
Question:
How does the quality of the helicopter by adding a
paperclip and the quality of the helicopter without a
paperclip affect.
Hypothesis:
If a paperclip is added, then the helicopter will drop faster
because the increased weight will make the helicopter spin
in a way that reduces air-resistance.
Materials:
Paper Helicopter Template
2 paper clips
1 Scissor
1 Stopwatch
1 Pencil
Ruler
Laptop
Chart that describes the speed of the helicopter
Calculator (to find the average)

Procedure:
1.Take out a piece of paper and draw the outline of the
helicopter with a pencil and ruler.
2.Cut off the outline with scissors and cut off two
helicopters.
3.After cutting out, and folding out the look of the
helicopter.
4.One of helicopter has a paperclip and the other does not.
5.Dropped from a height of 1.86 meters to record the
speed of the drop
6.Measure the time it takes for it to touch the floor.
7.Record the value in the laptop.
8.Do 2nd and 3rd trial
9.Get the average of the three trials.
10.Plot the graphs.

Data analysis
The increased helicopter time of the paper clip reduces the
average time the helicopter landed on the floor. Adding a
paperclip to the helicopter will be faster. The data supports
this assumption. Assuming a paperclip on the helicopter,
the helicopter will fall faster because of gravity and air
resistance. As a result, the average time is reduced by
adding a paper clip. This means that the speed of the
helicopter has increased.
In conclusion
This experiment yields whether it is faster to test whether
the weight of the object will cause the object to fall. One
finding is that when falling, if the mass of the object
increases, the air resistance decreases, but the force and
speed increase. Therefore, the data supports this
assumption. An independent variable that may affect the
experiment is the position of the paper clip. The
dependent variable is that the paper clip is placed in
another way. It may affect the speed of the helicopter. A
constant variable will be the height of the door (the
position where the helicopter is lowered) may affect the
result. The reason is that if you make the following points,
the helicopter will have a faster landing time.
