requires people to refrain from
their social activities and stay
home. The shift in behavior during
Pandemic and the precautions
taken drives consumers in
different buying patterns.

In an effort to save the Glow Up


Catering Co.,Ms. Mananquil
started direct selling in the
community. She formulated
the "ube turon" dessert which
captured the taste of even the
neighboring village.

It was then when a group of


young professionals inquired
about a place to celebrate the
end of their thesis defense.
They requested for a cake that
will mean "done". That was the
birth of the cake with the word
"Finale".

"The Pearl Cake" as what people


call it has gone viral in social
media. Feeling the hype,Ms
Jomarie instructed the Event
Assistants to make a souvenir that
will complement the Pearl Cake.
Thus, the "Pearl Collection" was
created.

of the cake. In graduation, bridal
showers, stag party,wedding and
in a rare moment...death. It is an
emotion of achievement,

company in the name Glow Up. But
the name was already taken. So he
opt for Cardinal Corporate Event.

proprietorship so he obtain

Department of Trade and
Industry.

It was then that Gelo knew that


another catering co. owns that
name. According to law, the prior
owner will always have the rights
superior to second. It could
oppose the application and be
sued for infringement. But if the
business is not similar it is ok.

Upon obtaining all of this, he visit


the Bureau of Internal Revenue
(BIR) to get his Certificate of
Registration (COR) and license to
print receipts. Register with the
SSS, PhilHealth and HDMF.

issue an official receipt and or
sales invoice for every sale of
goods or properties and sales of
services or lease of properties.
The invoice and or receipt serves
as written and supporting
document.

The Cardinal also created the complementary
wine glass which bear the 3D logo of the
