Picture A show that the teacher is teaching with the used of traditional materials like a
common white board and his reference is books. While picture B shows teacher used technology;
and he used whiteboard, in this picture there is a technology beside him and it looks like that his
using social media for his references.

Who is better equipped to handle the 21st century learners? Teacher A or Teacher B? Why?
Which of the two teachers would you like to become when you graduate? Why?
Teacher B is better equipped to handle the 21st century learners because nowadays
childrens are exposed to technology they are expert in technology than the adults nowadays. For
example, when I used PowerPoint presentation I can explain and to understand them by using
pictures and video clips attach to the PowerPoint. When I graduate I would like to become the
teacher B, because we are in the 21st century my students can learn more when I’m using
technology. It helps for them to motivate if they understand how a given topic fits into the big
picture of a meaningful contexts.

Almost of the teacher is using technology for their teaching, and they aware of the
policies. But in the other hand they are not expert of it. They use technology because we are in a
21st century where in students will learn better with the use of technology tool.

Teachers can use different apps or trusted online resources to enhance the traditional
ways of teaching and to keep students more engaged. Virtual lesson plans, grading software and
online assessments can help teachers save a lot time. Technology allows students to help each
other and work together across to better understand the material.
Technology is easy to used when we have knowledge about this, specially nowadays we
attend classes through online and PowerPoint is a commonly used to present the lesson.

1. I learned that… (Knowledge)
In 21st century we cannot survive without technology, because we are exposed to
it and we are a new generation. Technology is everywhere like when we are cook a rice we used
rice cooker even to pay a bills right now through social media. Even shopping, groceries we
don’t have to go to a groceries store, mall, supermarket etc. because 1 click in social media we
got a supplies already.

2. I felt that…(Value/Attitude)
We need to secure ourselves in gadgets, because too much to used technology is
not healthy. And also to avoid harmful activities in it. There is a saying that “think before you
click”.

3. I developed… (Skill)
I need to study the ICT for me as a future teacher to be aware in technology and to
keep up with my future student’s. Technology for now is too risky because you can do bad things
to other people and not using it in a good way. But in the other side technology can help us a lot
by asking information. And it helps also to communicate especially now because of pandemic
we used technology for our online class to communicate to the teachers and by doing activities
by e-copy. But sometimes it's not good because we forgot to write.
