EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The market for inspired perfume has been growing rapidly due to high demand for
inspired perfume, others reason is, inspired perfume is cheaper than original perfume but the
scent is similar to the original one. This is backed by the increasing civilization and increase in
investment by perfume company such as Victoria Secret, Gucci and Tom Ford. These company
willing to share their recipes in order to help in producing inspired perfume.
The perfume industry is one of the emerging industry throughout the world including
Malaysia. Globalization has given us new opportunities a bright future due to demand for
perfume. This is because perfume is a good thing to improve someone’s confident level.
With the loan given as a support from Bank Nasional Berhad(BSN) we are hoping and
wishing to make varieties of perfume able to achieve outstanding demand from user. Our
business is expected to commence on 2019 and will be realized by full cooperation and efforts
the partners to promote company. We are venturing into manufacturing and selling food
industry.
Perfume production has the potential of being a profitable business if it is done in modern
way with large scale and systematically managed. We will expect that our business will become
more expanded in the future, the demand will increase by times.

Terengganu. VONA Perfume involves in selling and repackaging perfumes, due to high demand

We only provide perfumes that are long lasting, affordable and halal for our customer and
it is our pleasure to satisfy their needs and wants. Future prospect of the business, this business is
highly demand because we are producing only famous and exclusive scent from branded
company. Our inspired perfume is approved by the company.
As a conclusion, we hope that our business will be successful and will be a great
business. Furthermore, we also hope that our products will be well-known by people all over the
country. We also will work hard in this business and one day we will produce our original own

1.0 INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, the perfume have become a trending. With the popularity that increasing, the
demand for the perfume has also increase dramatically. Here comes the idea of selling the
inspired perfume. The idea was originally contributed by general manager, Muhammad
Zulhamizan bin Ahmad. As we can tell, although there are lots of people that already selling the
perfume but all those sellers have the same similarity which are they only sell the same and old
scent which is boring.
When talking about entrepreneurship surely that not the only this that we want. Therefore
in the future, we will improvise our business in terms of the various scent of perfume. For now
we only sell 26 scent of perfume which is divide to 13 Men’s scent and 13 Women’s scent. We
only sell the famous scent which is high demand.

2.0 PURPOSE FOR PREPARING BUSINESS PLAN
Business plan are one of the most crucial element of the first step in starting a business. A
business plan will guide entrepreneur to assess the business venture objectively, critically and
practically. The business plan will help entrepreneur to find the objective of the business. Once
the business has its own objective, it will be able to calculate the strength and the weakness of
the business.
The business plan will also help the entrepreneur to study and evaluate the feasibility of the
business. By carefully planning and a business plan, entrepreneur will able to forecast the
possibility of the business outcome. With the business plan, entrepreneur also will be able to
raise capital. The business plan act as a guideline for other potential investor to invest their
capital into the business. Other than that, entrepreneur need the business plan to convince the
banker to approve the business loan from bank.
Next, with a business plan entrepreneur will have a guide line for day-to-day management.
Business plan will help entrepreneur to make a decision when it comes to the business state.
Other than that, the business plan will help the entrepreneur to distribute business resources more

5.0 LOCATION OF THE BUSINESS
Vona Perfume is located in the middle city of Dungun. Next to our premise, there is
Black& Yellow Self Service Laundry. So, it is easy to find our shop.
Before Vona perfume exist, the building that once stood at the location is Guardian. We
saw this as a golden opportunity to use the location as a stepping stone for VONA perfumes. We
rent the building for RM 2,500 for a month with RM5,000 deposit.
The premise is a double storage premise with the size approximately 220 feats times 320
feats and worth RM180,000. The premise was previously rent by Guardian. The premise already
accompanied with basic amenity such as electricity, water, telephone line and internet
connection.

6.1 INTRODUCTION
Marketing is the process of planning and executing the concepts, pricing ,promotion and
distribution of ideas, goods and services to create exchanges that’s satisfy individual and
organizational goals. The marketing 4P’s are also the foundation of the idea of marketing mix.
The marketing mix which includes price, product, promotion and place the crucial tools to help
understand what the product or services can offer and how to plan for a successful product
offering.
Marketing objectives are essential for any organization that wants to achieve their own
goals about its product or services. The good marketing objectives may help the whole
organization to move forward and increase the customer loyalty. When setting objectives, it is
very important to ensure that they are specific, measureable, achievable, realistic and time-
specific. This way will allow the supervisor to effectively manage the marketing activities and be
able to determine how successful new objectives will be.
Vona Perfume is a business that selling inspired perfume. We have 26 scent which is 13
scent for men and 13 scent for woman.

1. Product strategy
High quality products
- Vona perfume always make sure their products is high quality. We
always buy essence from good supplier. We mix the essence well.
- If the customer not satisfy with the products, they can refund.
Halal
- In perfume industry, to make sure the perfume absorbs well and last
longer, the mixture must be added at least 10% of alcohol. Some people
especially in Muslim community may doubt the alcohol used in the
perfume but there is no wrong putting alcohol in the perfume. It is
“Mesra Solat”. There is a fact about it.
Strong and long lasting smell
- Vona perfume only provides scent that long lasting and strong. We
always buy from good supplier that offers special formulation of the
perfume.
Packaging
- Our company provides exclusive packaging which is silver color for
men perfume, and gold color for women perfume. This exclusive
packaging is suitable for gift.
Product safety
- Product safety is important in order to ensure that there is no harmful
incident happen. Our company provides the product’s description with
precautionary measures

- Based on our survey about the perfume price, our perfumes is the
cheapest and competitive to other brands. We can produce as low as
RM30 cost of perfumes, then we sell it for RM60 for 60ml perfume.
Economy Pricing
- Our company using this strategy because based on our survey about
lifestyle in Dungun, there are many students and also workers living in
standard lifestyle which is they do not like pricey things. Our company
products is worth their money.
3. Promotion strategy
Advertising
- Advertising is one of effective marketing strategy. Nowadays , there is a
lot of medium that offer ads with a affordable price. Vona Perfume
choose Facebook Ads, Shoope ads, Instagram ads and paid review as our
medium for advertising. This method will increased our sale and make
our company known by everyone.
Sales Promotion
- Sales promotion strategy can attract customer interest and increase sales.
Our company sales promotion is buy 2 and get RM20 off. As example,
Vona Perfume price per bottle is RM60, if customer buy two when
promotion, the price will be RM100.
- Our company also giving free tester for customer to test the scent.
Join the event
- Once a year, Dungun will have a Eid bazaar or uptown. We will involve
in this event to expand our business.

7.0 OPERATION PLAN
7.1 INTRODUCTION
The operations plan also a process of planning that involve the identification of the step-
by-step processes from beginning to end in making the product or in providing the services. It is
activity that modify, transform or give added value to the input. Vona is a perfume business
which is the process involved with activity involved, the duration of produce the product and the
equipment that used in operation activity. For Vona, we start from purchasing the raw material
and produce the product until it become ready to use.
The operation will start early in the morning which is our workers need to come at 8 a.m.
and produce the item. The process of making Vona Inspired Perfume is quite hard because we
need a lot of energy to produce the item. We need to make sure that our workers are doing step
by step to produce the best quality of Vona Inspired Perfume.
With this business, we have a problem in mixing the raw material until it become the
most fragrant perfume. We have to make sure that the Perfume are safe to produce because
perfume is easy to get spoilage. The fragrant can become smelly.

7.3 OPERATION PROCESS
First of all, order perfume essence from the supplier. Prepare the raw material and put in 3ml
jar. Alcohol with perfume essence together and pour into mixing machine to mix it. After 30
minutes, bottle all the mixtures into bottle using auto filling machine. Then using capping
machine to seal the bottle. The last step pack the bottle in box packaging with wrap with plastic.
Business hours refer to the time the business is open to the customers while operation hours
refer to the hours the workers have to work. For our company, Vona Inspired Perfume will
operation from 8:00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. meanwhile our business operation will open at 10:00 a.m.
until 9:00 p.m. only for Sunday until Thursday. Our operation hour is 14 hours per day and
business hours only 11 hours per day. For Friday, our operation from 8.00 a.m until 5.30 p.m
only meanwhile our business operation will open at 10.am until 4.30 p.m only. Since our target
majority is student and working people, our business will operate 6 days per week which is we
close on Saturday.
Production planning is important to make sure that the business is able to produce output that
is enough to fulfill the expected market demand or sales and it will be achieved as we have a
good planning. It need to plan well and determine that how much output to produce for a certain
period of time such as in a day, a week or a month.

Based on the study that we had done on our mentor, we believe that our business VONA will be
able to generate profit and have a lot of potentials to be expanded on and make advantage of.
Besides that, thorough our marketing and promoting activities, we will be able to attract new

In addition, referring to our business finance plan, it shown that our company will be able to pay
back all our liability within a short period of time and still have left over to further improve and
