I. Name of the Business
The business will be known as "Kingdom Kids Day Care".
Mission Statement:
To provide quality child care services to the ever expanding residential area surrounding
Waverly Pkwy, Opelika. Kingdom Kids Day Care focuses on providing full services with an
emphasis on convenient hours, educational and social skills development, as well as being in a
family Christian environment. The center will operate as a licensed child care center that will be
licensed by the state of Alabama and will have their license renewed every two years. (Licensing
Overview, 2015).
f. Contracted Services
A local cleaning company will be contracted to perform a weekly sanitization of kitchen,
bathrooms and all carpets. All chemicals will be in adherence to all state and federal laws.

g. Legal
The business will be in compliance regarding the rules and regulations of the Alabama
Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, Structural Pest Control Board and the
Alabama Department of Health. The owners will obtain the required operating licenses issued by
the Alabama Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (Day Care/Child Care Licensing
and the Child Care Administrators License). Contractual agreements and other legal services will
be provided by the following attorney:
h. Current Proposal
As the need for child care services in the Opelika/Auburn area grows, so will the operation of
Kingdom Kids Day Care. Mr. and Mrs. Lowery & Mr. and Mrs. Brogdon have a total of $90,000
to invest in this project (land appraised at $50,000 and $40,000 in cash or cash equivalents). Mr.
and Mrs. Lowery & Mr. and Mrs. Brogdon need additional financing for two business loans,
totaling $150,000.

The Opelika/Auburn area is rapidly expanding through residential and commercial development.
Kingdom Kids Day Care specifically targets the working population with children ages six
weeks to twelve years who live or work within a six- mile radius of the proposed center location.
Potential exists for services to parents working evening shifts or weekends at commercial and
industrial firms such as the hospital and Kia Motors in the Opelika/Auburn area.
At the present time, there are several child care center that offers direct competition, but with the
growth in this area, more child care centers are needed.
V. Marketing Strategy
Kingdom Kids Day Care will be promoted in various local media. Clients have already begun
promotion by word of mouth. Response has been favorable. Formal advertising is planned to
begin three months before the center is scheduled to open. Social media will also be used since it
has shown success in other local businesses.
Kingdom Kids Day Care will also help with community outreach with sponsoring local sports
teams from the community. This will also help with marketing as well as helping the local
society.
Employees
Other than managing partners, teachers will be hired to assist in the daycare as well as a person
will be hired to handle the preparation of meals. The staff will adhere to child to adult ratios to
protect the health and safety of all children (Parenting support, 2015).

Appendix I.
Weekly services will be billed weekly and Quarterly services will be billed March, June, Sept
and Dec and will be due 14 days after invoice.
