Introduction
The project is done to know the importance of yoga at home. I have joined at online
yoga classes in udemy, the course i have taken is yoga the class timings are daily
1 hour total duration of the classes is 32 hours for 32 days. The trainer has trained
in a good manner by observing he we can do easily. Yoga is essentially a spiritual
discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing
harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living.

Living with freedom in all walks of life, health and harmony shall be the main
objectives of Yoga practice. "Yoga” also refers to an inner science comprising of
a variety of methods through which human beings can realize this union and
achieve mastery over their destiny.

The aim of Yoga practice is to overcome all kinds of sufferings that lead to a sense
of freedom in every walk of life with holistic health, happiness and harmony. The
science of Yoga has its origin thousands of years ago, long before the first religion
or belief systems were born.

Problem Identification and the Cause of the Problem

I want to share the problem or challenge that I found while doing the yoga is the
presented by the physical bodies. Whether you are born with a condition, the body
has developed conditions due to lifestyle or you have injuries from an accident or
illness, we are forced to stare them in the face when we practice yoga. There is
no ignoring them, actually, that is the beauty of yoga, it forces us to hold a mirror
and see what is happening.
I have had my fair share of injuries and know how frustrating it can be to not do
something you could once do or to be up the back of the studio in a permanently
modified pose.
I Acknowledgment and acceptance of the condition/injury are necessary for
making progress. The sooner we accept the situation as a learning opportunity the
sooner we will make progress in our yoga. It Include in your daily practice a small
routine of exercises/warm-ups or asana that you know improve the condition.

Objective to be achieved

Yoga is a systematic practice of physical exercise, breath control, relaxation, diet


control, and positive thinking, aimed at developing harmony in the body, mind, and
environment. The goal of yoga is Self-Realisation. It is about seeking one’s true
Self and becoming completely free from desires and worldly attachments. It seeks
to eliminate the sadness by removing the veil of ignorance and wrong knowledge
which is the cause of our attachment to the material world. It enables achieving
what was beyond our reach and consolidating what has been achieved by us at
every stage in our life.
We know that give our stomach a break from eating is quite good. We know how
to lose fat, stay fit, stay healthy. However, there are many people out there who
sell books and products on Gaining and losing the weight. It grinds my gears when
these experts tell us to do some crazy to gain muscle and stay fit.

Various Steps taken to achieve the objectives


 At the end of the day, you have to choose the yoga practice or other form
of exercise that is best for you, your body, and your specific needs and
goals. There are so many great options out there, so get out and try them
for yourself.
 I took an intention for my practice, knowing why i am doing it, is going to
make it easier to be disciplined.
 The physical practice will not develop in a linear trajectory. Rather, as the
yogi goes through life changes, certain asanas will fluctuate in their
accessibility.
 Confidence and ability will come with practice, just roll at the mat and do
it.
 The body needs a balance of strength and flexibility to stay safe and so the
practice must be helping you incur both. I am naturally bendy, then so my
main focusing is practice on strength building movements, and vice versa.
 Started small routine of exercises/warm-ups or asana daily so that it
improves the condition in daily practice.
 Have a weekly/monthly plan that includes goals & challenging poses, it
will help you to stay focused in the practice.
 For concentration keep the mobile phone away or it must be switch off.
 Don’t overdo it. If don’t enjoy the yoga practice it will never keep it up. It
should be something you look forward to doing. Maybe try another style of
yoga or teacher if you feel like yoga is becoming a chore.

Effectiveness of the Project


Yoga is known for its ability to ease stress and promote relaxation. After a one-
month yoga program, the I had lower levels of stress, anxiety, fatigue and
depression. My daily headache is reduced. It really helps in remove the stress,
and feel relaxed. Yoga is also improving heart health, as heart is for pumping blood
and supply tissues and nutrients to our different body parts. Yoga helps in lowering
the blood pressure. Daily yoga for about 1 Year, the results will come. Before
starting the course, I also had the problem of sleep quality, I am not able to have
good sleep. But yoga also improves the sleep quality. It helps in fall asleep faster,
longer and felt more rested. In the polluted environment, we have some problem
in breathing. Yoga helps in improve the breathing problem. Yoga for at least 1
Hour in a day, improves breathing problem. With different yoga possess and
breathing exercise I found significant increase in vital capacity.
Conclusion
During this course of time I came to know about different yoga postures that could
benefit someone in a wide variety of ways. I learned about different organs and
tissues of the body that are working in coordination with each other to perform
different functions. Yoga postures that can help directly to perform these functions
in a more effective way. During this course there were exercise that can be done
literally anywhere including office or home space that is something very necessary
in these times. As a computer science student, I spend most of my time in chair
and performing these exercises while still on my chair have helped me a lot. There
were exercises to calm the body, mediation and fitness exercises. So, one could
perform the exercises according to his own will. Exercises to reduce stress,
promote hormone growth, help the digestive, renal, cardiovascular and excretory
system as well as the respiratory system. Someone who practices these exercise
daily would benefit from them a lot

Yoga for your fitness needs is a great option because it offers so many
benefits physically, mentally, and beyond.
