DESIGNER COOKIES

..INGREDIENTS:
•1 cup powdered sugar
•1 cup unsalted butter
•1 teaspoon vanilla
•2+¼ cups maida
•1 teaspoon baking soda
•1 Tbsp cornflour
•4 Tbsp milk
PROCEDURE:
1.PreHeat oven to 180°C.
2.Mix sugar, butter in a bowl using a whisk until
pale and fluffy. This is known as "CREAMING
OF BUTTER AND SUGAR".Then add vanilla
exteact and mix.
3.In large bowl, Mix all dry ingredients i.e. flour,
baking soda and cornflour
4.Add dry ingredients mixture with butter and
sugar mixture. Mix gently.Add 4 Tbsp of milk for
binding and refrigerate for 30 minutes
5.make balls and flatten them on parchment
paper on baking tray and bake for 12 minutes at
180°C until lightly browned on the base and
sides .Cool on wire rack

KULKUL COOKIES

..INGREDIENTS:
•Maida - 1 cup
•Sugar - ⅓ cup
•Melted butter - 2 tbsp
•Salt - 1 tsp
•Vanilla essence - ½ tsp
PROCEDURE:
1. Powder 1/3 cup of sugar and keep aside. Take a wide bowl and
add maida,salt and powdered sugar.( If you powder 1/3 cup of
sugar,you will get around 1/2 cup.Use allthe sugar) Mix well and
check for taste.If sweetness is less,add more powdered sugar as
per your taste.
2. Melt the butter and let it become warm.Add it to the maida
mixture and make a crumbly mixture. Butter should spread all
over the maida.
3. Now add vanilla essence and water very little by little( use tsp)
and make a dough like a thick, non-sticky roti dough.Let it rest for
15 minutes.Keep it covered.
4. Make spiral shapes using a comb or fork. Pinch small
gooseberry sized balls from the dough and spread it as a thin
layer on the comb or the back of fork.Roll it to make a spiral
shape.Tightly roll it and close it well else it will open up.
5. Arrange all the shaped kulkuls in a plate(Do not make it too
thick because it will be crispy outside and soft inside.To avoid
this,take less dough and roll it thinly)
6. Heat cooking oil and test it by dropping a pinch of dough. It
should rise on top immediately.
7. After frying ,wait till it cools down to enjoy its best taste.Cook
the remaining kulkuls in batches. Adjust the flame from low to
medium whenever needed.
8. If want to bake, then bake at 180°C for 5 to 10 minutes in a
preheated oven.

SURPRISE SPRINKLE

..INGREDIENTS: COOKIES
•Maida - 1 Cup
•Soft Butter - ¼ Cup
•Sugar - ¼ Cup
•Honey - 2 tbsp
•Baking Powder - ½ Tsp
•Baking Soda - Few Pinches
•Ginger Powder - 2 Tsp
•Cinnamon Powder - ½ Tsp
•Cloves Powder - ¼ Tsp
•Nutmeg Powder - ¼ Tsp
•Maida - For Rolling
For Icing
•Icing Sugar - 2 Tbsp
•Water - 1 Tsp
PROCEDURE:
1. Sieve the flour with baking soda , baking powder,clove
powder,nutmeg powder and
cinnamon powder.
2. Whisk in soft butter and sugar together . Add in honey and
whisk till smooth
3. Now add in flour and make a smooth dough
4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
5. Roll it in a circle with 3 mm thickness
6. Cut in desired shape
7. Bake a 180 degrees for 12 minutes in a preheated oven
8. Cool down after baking. Join 3 cookies together and qdd
sprinkles in the center using chocolate.
9. Mix in icing sugar & water .Put in an icing bag . decorate as
desiredd

..INGREDIENTS:
•Maida - 1 Cup
•Soft Butter - ¼ Cup
•Sugar - ¼ Cup
•Honey - 2 tbsp
•Baking Powder - ½ Tsp
•Baking Soda - Few Pinches
•Ginger Powder - 2 Tsp
•Cinnamon Powder - ½ Tsp
•Cloves Powder - ¼ Tsp
•Nutmeg Powder - ¼ Tsp
•Maida - For Rolling
•clear toffees

PROCEDURE:
1. Sieve the flour with baking soda , baking powder,clove
powder,nutmeg powder and
cinnamon powder.
2. Whisk in soft butter and sugar together . Add in honey and
whisk till smooth
3. Now add in flour and make a smooth dough
4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
