Specifications
General
Note : Air capacity of filter-regulator should be greater or at least the same as capacity of positioner!
------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to the ignition hazard assessment the actuators series 2000 have no own potential ignition source. Therefore
the actuators are qualified for operation in the Ex-Zone. Further safety precautions are needed for the operation in a
hydrogen atmosphere.

Actuator thrust
The following tables can be used as a guide to actuator selection. For clarity only the standard spring ranges based
on nominal travels and the most common supply pressures are listed. For full details, including maximum allowable
stem loads of control valves, consult A. Hock MSR- u. Electronic Service GmbH.
Direct acting : Maximum stem thrust in bar and Newton (N) at standard spring range 0,2-1,0 bar (3-15 psi)

Accessories
Handwheels Top mounted Type OMH9 and OMH12 (applicable for 2109 and 2112 actuators) are mounted on top of the diagram case
as shown in Figure 17. These devices can be used as a travel stop in both directions. Type OMH16 uses a
gear drive and handwheel similar to the side-mounted version as shown in Figure 18.
Side mounted Type SMH9 and SMH12 shown in Figure 15/16 are applicable for 2109 and 2112 actuators respectively
Adjustable travel stop Available for all actuators without top mounted handwheels. They are used to limit travel in the up direction.
Positioner Pneumatic Provides fast and accurate positioning of the actuator stroke proportional with the pneumatic input signal. The
postioner is available with characterised cams, bypass and gauges.
Electro-pneumatic Receives a 0 to 20 or 4 to 20 dc input signal which is converted into a pneumatic output signal up to 86 psi (6
bar). It is vibration resistant, reversible, intrinsically safe, easy to adjust and service. Gain and reset
adjustment provides for stable operation.
Others El.-Pn. Transducer Converts a dc milliampere signal into a proportional pneumatic output pressure of 0,2-1,0 bar (3 to 15 psi)
Stroke transmitter / Mounts on the actuator in a similar way to the positioner and provides a proportional feed-back or on-off
Limit switch assembly signal. It operates lights, alarms, relay etc and contains up to 4 switches which are adjustable across the full
actuator travel.
Many others Air Set; Solenoid Valve; Lock-up valve; Booster; Terminal Box . . .
