Static electricity
STATIC ELECTRICITY
Static electricity may damage the product. The integrated circuits operates with
MAY DESTROY THE very low voltages, and that makes the product extremely sensetive to static
PRODUCT
electricity.
A static-protective field service kit must always be used when the product is
ESD disassembled or modules are being handled, since the internal electronics are very
sensitive to static electricity.
ESD-Mat Notice!
All modules must be placed on the ESD-mat or in an ESD-proof bag.
When mains voltage on the product is required, remove the connection between
the product and the ESD-mat. This is important to avoid getting injured by mains
voltage.
