Course description
In this course we discuss about the basic concepts of control systems, mathematical modeling of physical
system, Laplace transform method, time domain response analysis of control system, characteristic of
feedback control system, stability analysis of control system, frequency response analysis of control
system, and control system design.
Course Objective
The course aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of control system.
 The students will understand the principles and concepts of classical control systems.
 The students will understand and acquire solid foundation in mathematical modeling of physical
systems.
 The students will understand classical control technique of analysis and design of linear control
system.
 The students will be able to carry out the stability analysis of the linear control systems.
 The students will understand the application of MATLAB and Simulink in classical control
modeling, analysis, and design.
