Access workshop materials

Within 7 days of completing a trainer workshop, you will receive an email from Eventbrite
inviting you to view the content of your latest Little Scientists workshop. Once you accept the
invitation, you’ll have access to the workshop materials on Dropbox.

You will have two options to access your materials:

Option 1: To access Dropbox files via the file system on your computer:

1. Install Dropbox on your computer:

This step only needs to be completed once
- Go to dropbox.com and click “Download the app” on the homepage

2. To access files on your computer:

- Open File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) on your computer
- Locate the Dropbox folder and open files as required
Option 2: To access Dropbox files via a web browser:

1. Open any web browser e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Safari

2. Go to dropbox.com and login
3. On the left-hand side of the screen Click ‘Files’ or ‘My files’
The workshop materials will be available from this screen

Updates to materials
The Little Scientists team is continuously working on improving and developing the workshop
materials. This will be visible through regular updates. The Dropbox materials are
automatically updated when file changes are made.

To ensure you are using the most recent workshop materials, always access the materials
directly via your computer’s Dropbox folder or Dropbox.com (instructions above) when
preparing for each workshop. Do NOT download or move materials to other locations.

Note for locations with unreliable internet access:

Should internet access be unreliable at your workshop location, you may download the
materials to your computer prior to each workshop. These materials should be deleted on
conclusion of the workshop with fresh files downloaded from the Dropbox when preparing for
your next workshop. This will ensure you always have the most recent copies of the files.
Monitor updates
Most changes to the materials will be minor and will not require you to adapt your workshop
facilitation (layout changes, wording etc). You will be notified by Heike directly via email
when major changes to the workshop content have been made.

To view a list of all updated files:

To ensure you are aware of all updates, please view updates on Dropbox (instructions
above), before preparing for each workshop.

1. Open any web browser e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Safari

2. Go to dropbox.com and login (or create an account if prompted to do so)
3. On the left-hand side of the screen Click ‘Files’ or ‘My files’

Dropbox notifies you of updates via email. However, experience has shown that these
notifications are not comprehensive. We recommend turning off email notifications
(instructions below) and viewing all changes on dropbox.com prior to each workshop.

1. Ensure you are logged in to dropbox.com

2. Click your account icon (a) in the top right corner of the screen
(note: your image may look different to that above but it’s location will be the same)
