CALA CONTEXT:

- Learners will research on the causes of indiscipline in the learning environment and the
community
- Learners will research on the solutions to curb this problem
- Learners will research on the effects of indiscipline
- Learners will present their findings and solutions through an article

TEACHER’S NOTES:

- Monitors learners as they carry out the research within the school
- Provide guidelines on the writing of the article
- Supervises data analysis
- Liaise with the school administration to implement solutions generated.

BACKGROUND:

- It has been observed that there is a rise in the cases of indiscipline in schools
- The school authorities wish to find out the reason why learners are not adhering to
school rules
- Learners will be given two weeks to investigate on the causes ,effects and solutions to
indiscipline
- Findings from the learners will be expressed through writing an article

- The CALA has two separate parts, A and B

- Write an article on the causes, effects and solutions to indiscipline
