I- OBJECTIVES
To preserve life
To Prevent Harm
To Promote Recovery
II- REFLECTION –
Red Cross First Aid was entertaining and instructive. We learned all the theory in the
first session, which made the second session more interesting despite being thick and
tiresome. First, we learned first aid basics. First aid isn't only CPR, and you can't "save"
someone as in movies/TV programs; that's not how it works. All the other information
we learned on recognizing injuries or illnesses was equally useful since it's applicable to
daily living. The second, less dry session was strictly practical. Bandaging, Heimlich, and
CPR were taught. The CPR method was the most difficult practical component since a
mistake might inflict more damage than benefit.

IV- REALIZATION
All in all, this experience was extremely valuable because everything we learnt is
applicable in our day-to-day life and I think that if you have the time, this is definitely
something that you should consider doing because it really is very useful.
