1. INTRODUCTION

This document provides description for Site Acceptance Test (FAT) to be carried out for
the Instruments and Switch Rack for Lift Stations.

The objective of SAT is to demonstrate the equipment is configured and operating as

per client requirements.

ABB level transmitter, pressure transmitters, level switcher and Flow meter are used in
this project.

The test shall involve Switch rack and instruments functionality tests. All the transmitters
and Switch rack shall be tested as per attached procedure.

Functionality CHECK

In order to perform functionality as precaution, please ensure the following

• Power source is turned on.
• All pump protection beakers are on
• No system trip available
• Level controllers are configured with proper Low, LowLow, High and High
High set points.

Start filling the tank with water from zero level and check the following.

Check the Relay R2 of the relay control panel

turns ON the water in tank raises above low
level.
6 Check the duty pump starts running when the
relay R2 of the relay control panel turs ON.
7 Check the discharge pressure transmitter shows
healthy value when the pump runs.
8 Check the duty pump go OFF with the tank level
LowLow is attained.
Check the second duty pump starts running
9 when the relay R3 of the relay control panel
turns ON, and the water level raises above High
level in Auto mode.
Check the relay R4 of the relay control panel is

turns ON and check the beacon lamp turn on
with the level of the tank go above HighHigh

and check the beacon lamp go off when the level
of the tank go below high high level.
Once the level reach Low level and R2 is on only

duty selector to chose which pump need to be
run on Auto mode.
Check the ODOR removal system Functionality

and the ODER Blower is running Auto once the
pumps run, and off once the pumps off.
