Use
Anticorrosion Primer for metallic parts for rolling stocks and general industry.
Protection against stress corrosion.
SNCF Homologation for systems NFF 19220 / NFF 19290 / NFF 19223 / STMR 106 (RP 3120121 / RP 4021021)

Compatible with epoxy or polyurethan topcoat
Advice Arkote 31 Primaire can be applied over sand blasted stell, eventually covered by a shop
primer (Artewash 12, Hydrowash, Aquaweld 12) (*), or over solvent cleaned smooth
steel (except stainless) or sand blasted aluminium.
In case of refinishing, Arkote 31 Primaire can be applied over old system sanded in
advanced, including bare parts.

Storage conditions
Advice 18 months in perfectly closed cans or drums, if not been opened, at a temperature
between -5°C and +35°C.

Advice PREPARATION :
- Mix the base during 3 min in order to uniformly disperse the product before adding
the hardener.
- Add hardener and thinner in order to get the right spray application viscosity.
- Given spray viscosity is only indicative. Please follow the given
base/hardener/thinner ratio.
- After mixing leave 15 minutes induction time prior application.
FORCED CURING :
Please contact our technical assistance to have an adapted solution to your spray
booth.
CLEANING :
We recommend to clean the equipment directly after use with :
- Cleaning solvents : thinner T2745 or T2506.

If a drying time of 48 hours is exceeded or a force curing is used, sanding is required in order to have a good recoatability.
Advice Note all drying and recoatable time have been measured in our laboratory under controled
humidity and temperature. Those values are given as indication and can vary with a different
application and drying conditions.
