According to Study Moose, the idea that bullying in the Philippines is widespread was
thought to be a joke. People believed that bullying wasn't as extreme as it was shown in American teen
films. We Filipinos used to believe that bullying was not a problem in our world. However, our eyes have
recently been opened to the fact that bullying is a far bigger problem in the Philippines than we
previously believed.

A survey and a conversational review of interviews will be conducted in order to achieve these
goals. The aim of the study is to come up with a common concept of what students consider to be
"bullying." Whereas the interviews would aid the research in determining how in-class bullying affects
students.

Bullying is becoming a major problem in the Philippines, and this research will help us
comprehend the seriousness of the problem that bullying causes in the classroom. And if we exclude
cyber-bullying, there have een several incidents of bullying in the Philippines. Even the Department of
Education has issued a statement about the troubling rise in bullying cases around the world. It is
imperative to know why this is happening and how it can be mitigated.

This thesis can also inspire potential scholars to dig further into the subject and produce a more
informative and in-depth version of the research topic. It can also be seen as a foundation for research
into bullying, self-concept, and interpersonal contact habits in individuals. The study will also provide
more in-depth view of the issue of bullying because it focuses on a condition vital to the formation of
one’s self-concept. Through this study, students will become aware of the great effects that bullying can
have on others and this can help reduce the occurrence of sever bullying cases. Finally, the findings of
this research would reveal how much bullying can alter an individual's perception of himself or herself,
how it can influence how they communicate with others, and how it can alter their perception of the
environment in which they live.

Conclusion:

To conclude, bullying is rampant in school and the sad truth is even the teachers cannot
defend the victims or the student, they tend to ignore the fact that many students are bullied and the
students itself is afraid to confront or confess to the teachers because many teachers are not
approachable. Verbal bullying is the number one used in all types of bullying, for the fact that for them
(bullies) calling names etc., is just an insult and insult is also considered as verbal bullying. Bullying can
take multiple forms, and it can affect both children and adults. Some forms of bullying are apparent,
while others are more subtle.
