Dear Milford Residents:

REGULATIONS FOR “RESIDENTIAL” 2022 LEAF PROGRAM

Leaves must be raked to the edge of the sidewalk or front property line (if no sidewalk exists).
DO NOT RAKE LEAVES ONTO THE SIDEWALK OR INTO THE STREET. PER ARTICLE 13 OF THE
MILFORD GENERAL BY-LAWS, SWEEPING MATERIALS ONTO STREETS OR SIDEWALKS
IS PROHIBITED AND VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
Do not bag leaves for curbside removal.
No household garbage, trash, grass, sticks, rocks, etc. will be accepted. Leaf collection equipment will only
pick up leaves.
Do not pile leaves under low hanging branches.
Bulk of leaves will be vacuumed. Disposal of remaining leaves will be the responsibility of the
homeowner.
If you cover your leaves, the cover must be removed prior to the first day of your scheduled pick-up.
Due to time restraints and inclement weather, we are unable to return for a second pick-up. Residents must have their leaves
out on the Monday of the scheduled week or they will forfeit the service.
If we have finished a route early, we will be jumping ahead to the next route. We will also go through that next
route from start to finish again, on their scheduled week.
The Leaf Dump located off Fiske Mill Rd. will be open for your convenience Thursday & Friday: 12 - 4 PM,
Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, & Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Leaves & yard waste ONLY.
Leaf Removal hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
WEATHER PERMITTING.
