III. Overview
Some of the Filipino children do not know how to read and understand what
they read, in order to alleviate this problem, Calube Integrated School has
developed and sought strategies suitable for these children according to their level
and profile. This process was used based on the Reading Program launched by
Basa Pilipinas.

IV. Objectives
1. The number of struggling readers in the Filipino subject will decrease.
2. Be able to read with understanding the texts being read.
3. Have a good relationship with each child
4. Increase their vocabulary
5. Compose their sentences and paragraphs.
6. Be aware and use their own language.
V. Expected Outputs
At the end of the School Year 2022-2023, the students of Calube Integrated
School are expected to have a change in their reading level. 85% of the total
identified struggling readers in the Filipino and English Subjects have greatly
improved their reading skills.
