Native Tribal Health Consortium.Community council officer for 10 years. Created agendas for
community meetings, communicated with elected officials and community leaders, listened to
neighbors and drafted and submitted resolutions from our community.

Grant writer- Authored Alaska Science Teaching Foundation Grant for $5600, assisted in grant
for $30,000 for Nunaka Valley Playground, and won $1400 and $1600 for Scenic Park and
Kasuun through Alaska Arts and Health PTSA, co-authored a Challenge Grants for neighborhood
trail $40,000 and TAP grant $560,000
Community Service:
Worked with Wendler students on the following volunteer projects: making monthly dinner for
Clare House residents, sewing holiday stockings for Alaska Psychiatric Institute, raised $1000 for
American Cancer Society, Raised funds for Friends of Pets, Sewed hats for Brother Francis
Shelter, Coordinated food drive for The Food Bank of Alaska, washing and organizing Anchorage
Junior Nordic jackets, Making blankets and "move-in" baskets for AWAIC, Fund raised and
coordinated efforts to build a new trail in my neighborhood, officer of the Scenic Foothills
Community Council.
