EXAM: CHEST CT – PLAIN AND CONTRAST

TECHNIQUE: Axial images through the chest were acquired from lower neck to adrenals. Images were reviewed in
lung, mediastinum and bone window settings.
CLINICAL INFORMATION: GRAVIDA 1 PARA 1 (1001) ENDOMETRIOID CANCER ( MIXED MODERATELTY
DIFFERENTIATED ENDOMETRIOID CANCER AND CLEAR CELL CARCINOMA)
COMPARISON: None
Findings:
The lungs are clear with normal roots. No definite active infiltrates or nodular lesions appreciated in both sides.
No evidence of pleural effusion. Tracheobronchial tree is patent with no abnormal intraluminal densities. No
mediastinal, hilar and axillary lymphadenopathy noted.
The heart is normal in size and configuration. No abnormal pericardial fluid collection noted.
Thoracic cage, visualized shoulder girdle and axial skeleton, corresponding spinal canal and cord appear intact
There is a heterogenously enhancing nodule in the right thyroid lobe measuring 1.5 x 0.9 cm AP x T. The left
thyroid lobe is normal.
No focal osseous lesions demonstrated. The extrathoracic soft tissues are unremarkable.
Included sections of the liver, adrenal glands, kidneys, pancreas, spleen and stomach reveal no focal lesions.
No other significant findings.

IMPRESSION:
Thyroid nodule, right. Suggest ultrasound correlation.
CT SCAN WHOLE ABDOMEN

TECHNIQUE: Multiple axial tomographic sections of the whole abdomen were obtained with oro-rectal and
intravenous contrast. No adverse reactions were observed.
The liver is normal in size and tissue attenuation. No focal cystic and solid lesions appreciated here. The
intrahepatic ducts are not dilated. The gallbladder is physiologically distended with no abnormal intraluminal
densities or calculi.
The pancreas and spleen are normal in size and tissue attenuation. No focal lesions noted in both of these organs.
The pancreatic duct is not dilated.
Evaluation of the gastro-intestinal tract is limited due to poor bowel preparation. Mesenteric fat is normal.
The kidneys are normal in size with good excretion of the injected contrast. Renal arterial and parenchymal
opacifications in both sides are symmetric and simultaneous. Cystic foci are noted in both kidneys, in the right
inferior cortex (0.8 x 1.0 cm AP x T), and in the left superior cortex ( 1.8 x 1.9 cm ).
No renal parenchymal lesions or mass densities demonstrated on both sides. Pelvocalyceal system and ureters are
not dilated. No evidence of lithiasis noted on both sides. The adrenal glands are unremarkable.
No evidence of abdominal lymphadenopathy. Vascular opacifications do not appear unusual.

Cortical irregularities are seen in the vertebral bodies of the thoracic spine.
The urinary bladder is adequately distended showing its regular contour and normal non-thickened walls. No
pathologic intraluminal densities appreciated here.
The anteverted uterus measures 9.2 x 7.4 x 5.5 cm CC x T x AP. The endometrial stripe is thickened ( 2.1 cm).
Impression:
Known case of endometrial cancer.
Thickened endometrium
Bilateral renal cysts.
Thoracic spondylosis
