1. Overview

The ECO series burner control device is used for controlling the servo motors in order to set and reach
appropriate temperature for modulating burners.

The device sends the electrical signals to the burner's servomotor to reach set point, according to the
temperature or pressure feedback information from relevant sensors such as PT-100, thermocouple or
various analogue output devices.

2. Electrical Connection

The electrical connection details of the process controller device are given below.

• Terminals 1-2-3-4 are used for the relevant sensor connections.

• The supplied electrical signal from terminal 10 (common input) is delivered to output terminals 9 or 11
by closing the contacts of the respective relays in accordance with the process set value requirements.

• The terminals 12 and 13 are the safety alarm contacts. The alarm information is given to the system by
opening or closing of the corresponding relay at the predefined setting conditions.

• Terminals 14-15 are used for power supply.

Full Scale (uPL - LoL) %.
If uPL = 1000 °C, LoL = 0 °C and P-Ht = 50.0 then
Proportional Band = (uPL - LoL) * / 100.0
Proportional Band = (1000-0)*50.0/100.0 = 500 °C
ı-Ht Heating integral time (0000 sec, 3600 secs)
It can be changed by the user. When Tune operation

control part does not run. When tune operation stops if
this parameter is 0, this parameter cannot be changed
because of integral control part does not run.
d-Ht Heating derivative time (000.0 sec, 999.9 secs)
It can be changed by the user. When Tune operation
stops, it can be changed by the device. If it is 0,
derivative control part does not run.
When tune operation stops if this parameter is 0, this
parameter cannot be changed because of derivative
control part does not run.
ULtt Servomotor travel time - It can be adjusted from 5 to
600 seconds.
ULHy Minimum time of servomotor output activation. It can
be adjusted from 0.1% to 5.0%. If = 100 ULtt sec and
ULHy = 1.0% then minimum time of servomotor output
activation is 100 * 1.0% = 1 sec
uoPt Servomotor open contact interval - Minimum interval
(in seconds) between two "Servo Open" relay contacts.
uCLt Servomotor close contact interval - Minimum interval
(in seconds) between two "Servo Close" relay contacts.
Alt It determines alarm type.
0000 - The alarm relay is activated when the temp
reaches the set value. It operates independently of
process set value.
0001 - The alarm relay is activated until the temp value
reaches alarm set value is. It operates independently of
process set value.
0002 - The alarm relay is activated when the
temperature reaches set value + alr set value
0003 - The alarm relay is activated until reaching set
value - alr set value
0004 - The alarm relay is activated until reaching set
value + alr set value
ALrS Alarm Set Value
ALH Alarm hysteresis value. - When the alarm relay
changes position, it changes position again at the
hysteresis value.
ULHS If this parameter is set to a non-zero value, the device
operates in "on-off control" mode and hysteresis value
will be as Ulhs setting value. If this parameter is set to
0000, the device operates in "PID control" mode.
13 ECO SERIES PROCESS CONTROLLER INSTRUCTION MANUAL

values. It is named as the high limit of set scale.
The value set in this parameter specifies the
maximum set value that can be set on the
operation screen.
UdFt The corresponding parameter is used for saving and
loading the user parameters.
With GET value selection, the most recently saved
user parameters will be loaded.
With SET value selection, all the parameters will be
saved for future use.
FdFt When this parameter is set, the device returns to
the factory settings.

password is not requested while entering the main
menu.
If this parameter is set to a non-zero value, the
password will be required while entering the main
menu and the password value will be tCSP setting
value.
In case of forgetting this parameter, 2111 value can
be used in order to enter the main menu.

5. Operation and maintenance

• Repairs should only be performed by trained and specialized personnel. Cut the power down of the
device before accessing internal parts.

• Do not clean the case with hydrocarbon-based solvents (Petrol, Trichlorethylene etc.). Use of these
solvents can reduce the mechanical reliability of the device. Use a cloth dampened with ethyl alcohol
or water to clean the external plastic case.

• The device has an average life of 10 years.

• Never attempt to disassemble, modify or repair this unit. Tampering with the unit may result in
malfunction, electric shock or fire.

Removing device from the panel

1- Loosen the screws.

2- Pull mounting clamps from top

and bottom fixing sockets.

3- Pull the unit through the front

side of the panel

Before starting to remove the unit from panel, power off the unit and the related
system.

6. Error Messages and Descriptions

The error messages that can be seen on the operation screen and the relevant descriptions of these error
messages are as follows.

Sensor failure in analogue inputs. Sensor connection is wrong or

Sbr
there is no sensor connection.

• Ensure the (iSSL) parameter is matched with the installed sensor.

• Check the electrical connection of the sensor terminals.

If top display blinks: If analogue input value is less or greater than minimum
Value (LoL) or the maximum value (uPL) of operating scale top display starts
to blink.

If tuning operation cannot be completed in 8 hours, AT led starts to blink.

Blinking can be cancelled by pressing the Enter key.

If a "Tech" password has been created previously on the device, pressing

the “menu key” for 5 seconds will result in the selection of the PROG and
CAL menu. At this point, the PROG option must be selected.

When the PROG selection is made, the screen appears and the
password is requested.
The menu can be accessed by typing the correct password.
