BIONOTE:
Mr. Leo Andrew B. Diego is one of the article contributors of the International Book titled: “Modernizing
Frontier”, published by University of Amsterdam in partnership with University of the Philippines, Diliman and
Palawan Studies Center at Palawan State University, Palawan, Philippines in 2017. He was featured as ethnographic
field researcher in the Book titled: “In Search of a Good Life” published by the above-mentioned universities in 2018.
Born at Roxas, Palawan, he came from humble begginnings and finished his elementary and High School years at
Port Barton National High School in Port Barton (One of the most visited international tourist destinations in Palawan)
San Vicente, Palawan. He finished his bachelor degree in Philosophy at Seminario De San Jose. He found his calling
for being a Teacher, loving husband and a father to his three lovely kids. He is currently a candidate for Master of
Arts in Social Science Education. He became a College Faculty at Palawan State University Main, San Rafael and
Dumaran Campuses for almost four years before he set his paces at Department of Education since 2016 to present
as dedicated Senior High School Teacher. He published and presented numerous articles and books both local and
abroad including his research article on cheating during examination indexed in googlescholar.com and
researchgate.com which garnered 25 citation from the scholar community. He now holds his post as District
Research Coordinator of Roxas South District and Regional Coordinator of Aloysian Publications in the Philippines.
He is now awarded as Philippines’ Exceptional Senior High School Teacher and Philippines Most Outstanding
Researcher of the Year in the 5th Dangal ng Lahi Award in Baguio City Philippines. His research interests lie
particularly in Social Sciences, Education, Medical Anthropology, Philosophy of Man, Network Marketing and Social
Media.
