No matter how conformist, how conventional, or how dull, people
become fascinating the moment they talk of the things they do, know, are interested in.
Everyone then becomes an individual. The most conventional person I can recall, a banker in a
small New England town, who seemed to know nothing but the most hackneyed clichés,
became fascinating when he suddenly started talking about buttons throughout the ages their
invention, their shapes, their materials, their functions and uses with a fire and passion worthy
of a great lyrical poet.

What was the most boring thing you did when you were young ?

My hobbies can always save me from boredom, I would just do some drawing, freely, mindlessly
drawing lines and patterns
The combination of shapes and color with my brush strokes is magical and comforting
spontaneously/freely/mindlessly letting the brush strokes of colors take shape on the canvas

What kinds of things are boring to you ?

repetitive and useless tasks are boring to me, things like that are a waste of time
copy sentences from the textbook to memorize them for the exam, just learning by rote and
not interesting at all
Where is your favorite place to sit ?
A relaxing vibe with light music, affordable, not expensive, the coffee there was to my taste, the
coffee flavor is to my taste. So I think it’s worth doing

I love singing but I’m no expert in it,
I’m inept at it / I’m quite average / mediocre in singing
I’m a lousy singer, I can’t hit the notes properly, I think, I can only sing in tone,
Have you ever learnt how to sing ?
I’ve learnt some baby singing techniques when I was in primary school, and I cannot recall what
exactly are they anymore, but I believe to sing well requires professional techniques and lots of
practice

To sing is to express or to praise emotionally …

Different types/genres of music would Invoke different types of emotion,

I do a lot of essay-writings as I’m a college student, apart from that, I also keep a diary
occasionally or post some random thoughts about my life on social media in my spare time.
(mostly typing not hand-writing  dying art)
What do you like to write ?
I love to write 3 types of things, 1, what makes me happy ? 2, who makes me grateful ,3 my
wrongdoings of the day  this can help to be a happier and better person (introspective /
retrospective )
I think it is a way to record a slice of my life and keep passionate about life
To record the joyous (trivial) moments/fragments of life, the life is actually nothing more than
chains of moments, thus, we need to learn how to appreciate / cherish every moment.

Convenient (no need to take pen and paper with me; more instant)

Both in academic writing and casual writing
Will not completely replace handwriting because But there are still some scenarios and
occasions handwriting will be necessary / compulsory  signing a document /authorization

Volleyball  more than 6 years  passion / favorite pastime  teamwork  not just requires
athleticism but also demand tactics and teamwork (family & love)  support each other / take
care of each/ look out for each other and strive for the same goal

I learnt in junior high school, it was/ is a compulsory PE course in the school curriculum

It is a strenuous sports, I believe, every piece of the body muscle is involved, it’s a really great
