Maharashtra Govt Schemes

Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan"- Maharashtra government has launched the project


"Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan" in a bid to make Maharashtra a drought-free state by
2019. The project involves deepening and widening of streams, construction of
cement and earthen stop dams, work on nullahs and digging of farm ponds. The
mobile app, developed by MRSAC, is being used to map these locations. The
mapped location can be monitored through this web page. The user will be able to
download the application, view instruction manual and view mapping locations
along with photographs. District-wise, taluka-wise, work-wise statistics is also
available both in tabular and graphics form. The project aims to make 5000
villages free of water scarcity every year.

Amrit Mahabhiyan

• Launch: The state level launch of this campaign was done by the Chief Minister
of the state Eknath Shinde on 24 November 2022 at Yashwantrao Chavan Center
Auditorium.

Objective : To the homeless families in the state of Asal of this campaign

Gharkul will be provided to needy and poor and landless families

. Under this Amrit Mahaavas Abhiyaan, houses will be built to nearly five lakh
beneficiaries in Maharashtra state.

• 'Amrit Mahaayas Abhiyan 2022-23' is being implemented in Maharashtra from the


National Housing Day which concluded on 20th November 2002 to 31st March 2023
to mark the celebration of Indian Independence.
effective implementation of all the rural housing schemes such as Centrally
sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural and State sponsored Ramai Awas
Yojana, Shabari Awas Yojana, Pardhi Awas Yojana, Adim Awas Yojana, Atal Praksha
Mangar Awas Yojana, Yashwantrao Chavan Mukta Vasahat Yojana by implementing
various activities during the period And the purpose of this campaign is to bring
quality in work.

1. Providing space to landless beneficiaries

2. Sanctioning 100 percent of shelters as per targets.

3. Timely disbursement of all installments to approved nurseries.

4. Physical completion of all approved houses.


5. Completion of Delayed Houses.

7. Completion of all remaining Gharkules under Indira Awas Yojana and use of
Kshetra Adhikari P.

8. Conducting social audits in time.

9. Convergence with government schemes.

10. Implementing Innovations / Best Practices.

Mata Surakshit Tar Ghar Surakshit Abhiyaan


'Mata Safe If Home Safe' campaign

• Launch: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has launched the 'Mata Safe, Home
Safe' campaign at Smt. Nathibai Thakarsi Women's University (SNDT) in
Pune on the occasion of Navratri festival.

• Duration : 26 September to 5 October 2022

• Objective : To provide preventive and curative health facilities to women


above 18 years of age, mothers, pregnant women in the state and to provide
counseling facilities for safe and healthy health.

* Salient Features:

The campaign was implemented in coordination with the Integrated Child


Development Service Scheme and the Health Department.

During this campaign between 9 am to 2 pm • Examination by Medical


Officer and Gynecologist,Medical, dental camps are being organized for
medication, sonography and counselling. The support of experts related to
various diseases was also taken.

Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, health workers, servants went door to


door and gave information about the available facilities.

Cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, cataract, ear-nose-throat and other


diseases of all women above 30 years of age are being diagnosed and
treated and counseled as required. If surgery is required, it is being done
through Mahatma Phule Yojana.
Mahajeevika Mission

Inauguration: The then Rural Development Minister of Maharashtra Har

Mushrif on 8 March 2022 at Yashwantrao Chav Pratishthan, Mumbai.

Objective : To provide women with the right market to provide livelihood to


at least one million women in the state.

Salient Features:

This campaign is being implemented through the 'Umed Abhiyan' of the


Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department of Maharashtra.

About 56 lakh families in the state are involved in this campaign and about
5 lakh 47 thousand self-help groups have been formed.

Bank loans of Rs 12,479 crore and community funds of Rs 953 crore have
been made available to these SHGs so far through the campaign.

Government of Maharashtra is celebrating the year 2022-23 as 'Livelihood


Year'.

Jijau te Savitri Sanmanan Maharashtra's Lakicha " Abhiyaan.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rajmata Jijau and the birth anniversary
of the first female teacher, Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, the 'Jijau to Savitri Samman
Maharashtra Lake Campaign' was implemented in all schools in Maharashtra from
3rd to 12th January 2022.
Various educational programs were organized for students and teachers under this
campaign.

• Objective : To inculcate in the minds of the school students the values necessary
for a successful life.

• 3 Jan birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule 12 Jan: Birth anniversary of


Rajmata Jijau Maasaheb.
Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana

Announcement 3 October 2022 L Govt To strengthen the state's rural health


system, the state government is going to provide double the funds for the health
sector.

• Along with that, around 700 'Balasaheb Thackeray Aap Davakhana' will be started
across the state. Such clinics will be started in 227 places in Mumbai. aim to
provide health facilities close to home to citizens through our clinics. Upgradation
of health institutions to strengthen primary health centers, sub-centres and rural
clinics. So that quality health facilities can be provided to the citizens of rural
areas at the local level.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Tourist Circuit Yojana

• Cental Government announced a special tourist circuit program of five major


places related to Babasaheb Ambedkar, in which Dr. Including five important
places related to Babasaheb Ambedkar

• The five sites are as follows:

1) Janmabhoomi Mhoo, Madhya Pradesh -

3) Dikshabhumi Nagpur

2) Shikshabhumi - London

4) Mahanirvanabhumi place of death

5) Chaityabhoomi Mumbai, Cremation -

• Purpose- To attract tourists.


• The circuit will operate on a 'collaborative' basis, i.e. some selections without
traveling to all locations together.
"Tourists will be allowed to visit the places.
15 tourist circuits have been started under Swadesh Darshan Yojana to promote
tourism. Ambedkar Tourist Circuit was started to promote the thoughts and work
of Yoj Babasaheb in the country. 5 thousand 445 crores amount has been spent
till March 2022 on the project 'Swadesh Darshan'

In 2016, the central government proposed to develop places related to Babasaheb


under the Panchtirtha Yojana. Ambedkar Tourist Circuit is a part of it.

Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Scheme

• Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana, which provides discounts on outstanding


amount and re-connection of electricity to customers whose electricity supply is
permanently cut off, was announced by the then Energy Minister Dr. Done by Nitin
Raut.

• Due to this scheme, 32 lakh consumers of the state will get an opportunity to
get electricity connection again. A scheme will be implemented in the name of
former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Vilasrao Deshmukh for
customers whose electricity supply has been permanently cut off due to arrears.

Therefore, some recovery amount will be received from the arrears customer and
contribution will be needed to recover the financial situation of Mahadistrivan.

• Due to the implementation of this scheme, closed businesses, industries will


resume and lakhs of people will get employment and the economy of the state
will accelerate.

• The scheme period was from 1st March 2022 to 31st August 2022.

“Jivala' Yojana”
• The then Home Minister Dilip Valse Patil launched the 'Jivala' scheme which gave
loans to prisoners.

• The scheme was launched for the inmates of Yerawada Jail in Pune.

Maharashtra became the first state in the country to introduce such a scheme.

• Lending bank- Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank. Their loans will be repaid
only from the remuneration received by the prisoners

Objective-
- Facilitate the livelihood, health, education of the children and rehabilitation of
the prisoner after the sentence period of the prisoner's family
• No guarantor or collateral is required for disbursing this loan.
• 1% of the loan repayment amount will be contributed by the bank to the
Prisoners Welfare Fund.
• This scheme is for prisoners serving more than three years of imprisonment.
• 7% interest rate applicable
• No processing fees for loans.
• Only first-time offenders will be eligible for this scheme.
• A loan of Rs.50,000 will be provided in the initial phase.

Meenatai Thackeray Rural Water Harvesting Scheme

Objective- Storing water scientifically.


Started- 21st MAy 2021

• Features of this scheme:

1) Around 173 talukas in the state are drought prone i.e. drought prone areas.
Due to this, many villages, mansions and settlements in the state do not have
access to sustainable drinking water. Currently, 70% of the rainfall in the state is
run off and evaporates. Hence the catch the rain scheme to overcome the water
problem

2) This scheme will be implemented in villages, wadis and settlements having a


population of at least 50 to 500.

3) The pure and clean water available during monsoon is stored in metallic
storage tanks, Ferati or RCC till summer. Cement storage tanks, Jalakumbh will be
stored in the storage tank and water will be made available through public
participation during periods of scarcity.

4) This scheme will be implemented in remote areas, hilly areas, tribal areas,
drought affected as well as tanker affected villages.

6) Rain water, springs, percolation ponds etc. will be taken as sources for this
scheme and if it is necessary to plan on ground water in the area with average or
less rainfall, it is arranged that the storage tank will be filled from the water
percolating from Ota or riverside public wells during monsoon season or from
adjacent canals.

7) And implementation powers up to Rs. 15 lakhs Gram Panchayat has the powers
of Zilla Parishad Chief Executive. The combined proposal will be given to the
District Committee under the Chairmanship of the Panel Minister,

Sant Bhagwan Baba Government Hostel Scheme

• Commencement : 2 June 2021

Features of this scheme:

1) Sant Bhagwan Baba Government Hostel Scheme was started for the children of
migrant sugarcane workers. self Sant Bhagwan Baba hostel scheme approved
under Gopinathrao Munde Sugar Cane Workers Welfare Corporation

2) Under this scheme, 82 hostels will be constructed for the families of sugarcane
workers in 41 talukas of the state.

3) In the first phase of this scheme Parli, Kage, Beed, Gevrai, Patoda and
Majalgaon, Ahmednagar and in Beed district. 20 hostels of 100 capacity each for
boys and girls will be set up in ten taluks namely Jamkhed and Pathardi and
Ghansangvi and Ambad in Jalna district.

4) About 8 to 10 lakh sugarcane is cut in about 101 cooperative and 87 private


sugar mills in the state.

Workers migrate from different districts of the state to work.

Benefits of this plan:

1) Dropout rate will decrease

2) Education will be encouraged

3) It will help students' health and academic progress

4) Student safety

Gram Ujala Yojana

Objective : To provide the cheapest LED bulbs

Commencement 19 March 2021

This is a first of its kind scheme in India. Under this scheme, LED bulb will be
given for 10 rupees. The first scheme was started from Ara district of Bihar. Nagpur
district of Maharashtra is included. About 1.50 crore LED bulbs will be distributed.
Energy Efficient Services Limited (EESL) is working on a scheme to provide 60
crore LED bulbs to rural areas of the country at a cost of Rs 10 each. This new LED
build scheme will play an important role in improving the environment in the
country as well as taking forward the Make in India campaign. After registering the
scheme under the United Nations CDM, EESL will get carbon credits from which a
subsidy of Rs 60 will be provided for each LED bulb. The main objective and
benefit of this scheme is as follows. That the use of LED bulbs should consume
less energy which will contribute greatly to climate change. India is the world's
largest producer of greenhouse gases after the US and China. The carbon footprint
level is to be reduced from 200 level to 33% by 2030 and this new LED bulb
scheme can contribute a lot towards this... EESL (Energy Efficiency Services Ltd.)
is a wholly owned subsidiary. EESL is the energy company of Bharat Car, the
world's largest energy service company. It has 100% stake with Bharat Sakar.

7 and 12 watt LED Bulbs will be available in the first phase under Gram Ujala
programme. The bulb will have a shelf life of three years and will be made
available only in rural India. 300 in India still | There are more than 30 crore yellow
bulbs in the million. Replacing these bulbs with LED bulbs would save 743 million
kilowatts of energy annually. Apart from that, reduction in carbon dioxide by 37
million tons per year

Ministry of Human Resource and Development

YUVA 2.0- The Directorate of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education


introduced YUVA 2.0 (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors), the Prime
Minister's Program for Mentoring Young Writers, on October 2 +. The
National Book Trust (NBT), India, under the Ministry of Education, will
ensure phase-wise execution of the Scheme under well-defined stages of
mentorship. It is a part of the India@75 Project. YUVA (Young, Upcoming and
Versatile Authors) 2.0 is an Author Mentorship Programme to train authors
(below 30 years of age). It aims to promote reading, writing, and book
culture in the country and project India and Indian writings globally (Azadi
Ka Amrit Mahotsav).

Padhe Bharat Campaign- The Department of School Education & Literacy


initiated the Padhe Bharat Campaign on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
It is a 100-day reading initiative that will focus on children in Balvatika
through Grade 8 in order to assist and encourage kids to read for fun
learning experiences. It strives to include participation from all interested
parties, such as students, instructors, parents, the community, and
educational authorities. Also, the campaign will emphasise Indian
languages, including mother tongue, local, and regional languages. This
promotion has been coordinated with International Mother Tongue Day on
February 21, which is observed globally.

E- Samadhan Portal- The University Grants Commission (UGC) will shortly


introduce the E- Samadhan Portal, which would provide a single window for
grievance submission and combine all currently active portals. Aim

PM eVIDYA- by Ministry of Education + PM eVIDYA It unites all efforts made


in connection with digital, internet, and broadcast education to offer
multi-mode access for educating people while minimising learning losses +
As a part of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, it was started. Lately,
UNESCO has recognised the use of ICT under PM eVIDYA, particularly during
the COVID-19 epidemic.

PM SHRI- On National Teachers Day, the PM-SHRI Scheme was introduced.


PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) and centrally supported programme
by the Ministry of Education. Aim: To strengthen the existing schools
chosen from among those managed by the Central Government, State
Government, UT Government, and local bodies in order to upgrade and
develop more than 14500 schools throughout the nation. The focus of these
schools will be on modern infrastructure and development as "green
schools," and these schools will serve as mentors to other schools in their
area. It will present every aspect of the national education strategy in 2020.

Samarth Portal = Project Samarth, sponsored by the Ministry of Education,


was launched in 2019 as part of the NMEICT-II (now NMEICT-III) initiative of
the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication
Technologies. It combines technology and enables HEIs to quickly and easily
plan, administer, deliver, and monitor educational services using a digital
framework.

Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Initiative = IKS is an innovative cell under


Ministry of Education at All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) +
Established to promote interdisciplinary research on all aspects of IKS,
preserve and disseminate IKS for further research and societal applications
Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi, Posham Pa, Gilli Danda etc. are among 75
indigenous games that will be introduced in schools under IKS initiative
taste, flavor, and shape.

Vidyanjali 2.0 Portal- Ministry of Education + Vidyanjali 2.0 Portal Through


community and commercial sector involvement in schools across the
nation, the Vidyanjali project seeks to strengthen schools.
This programme will link schools with a variety of Indian Diaspora
volunteers, including young professionals, graduates, working and retired
teachers, government officials, professionals, and many more. The
implementation of Vidyanjali, which is being carried out under the general
auspices of the Samagra Shiksha, would increase community involvement in
public schools.

Glue Grant Scheme - Ministry of Education, It seeks to promote


transdisciplinary learning in UG courses. Institutions in the same city would
be encouraged to exchange resources, equipment, and even allow their
students to attend classes from each other under the glue grant, which was
introduced in this year's budget. The academic credit bank has also been
introduced along with the Glue grant. With many entry and exit points
available, a specific number of credits would add up to a certificate, then a
diploma, and finally a degree. With online Swayam programmes, students
can earn up to 40% of their required credits. The credits will eventually be
transferable between institutions.
The Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) was established
in 2011 and offers financial aid to 5,000 deserving students annually so they
can attend private and public universities nationwide. It is run by the All
India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and it aims to increase job
opportunities for students from J&K and Ladakh. Recently, the Center
extended the PMSSS to students in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for an
additional five years.

New India Literacy Programm = The Government of India recently launched


the New India Literacy Programme, which would run from 2022-23 to
2026-27. The National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP) and all facets of adult
education will be integrated through the NILP, which has been approved for
the following five fiscal years (2022-27). Centrally Sponsored Programme +
It is being carried out under the general supervision and guidance of the
Ministry of Education + It intends to assist the States and Union Territories
in improving literacy among non-literates in the age group of 15 and above
Plus Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Critical Living Skills, Vocational
Skills Development, Basic Education, and Continued Education are the five
goals of the New India Literacy Programme (NILP).

The Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a statewide project run by the Ministry
of Education that was first introduced in 2017. It is open to all students
enrolled in high school (6th through 12th grade) and college. PM recently
spoke at the SIH 2022 Grand Finals.

NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding


and Numeracy) Bharat Scheme was introduced by the Ministry of
Education. It attempts to meet the educational needs of kids between the
ages of three and nine. As a part of NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 +,
this project is being introduced. To attain the necessary learning capabilities
in reading, writing, and mathematics by the end of third grade by
2026–2027, it intends to build an environment that facilitates universal
acquisition of foundational literacy and numeracy. It will put an emphasis
on ensuring that kids have access to education and keeping them in school
during their formative years; developing teachers' capacities; and creating
high-quality, diversified student and teacher resources/learning materials.

DIKSHA Platform is made up of the Ministry of Education and DIKSHA


(Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing and Analysis). The Ministry of
Education owns and runs DIKSHA, a National Teacher Platform that is
currently being utilised by teachers and students across the country to
deliver school instruction through distant learning.

National Credit Framework (NCrF) = To achieve the goals of NEP 2020, the
Indian government has authorised the creation of a High-Level Committee
(2021) to create a National Credit Accumulation and Transfer Framework for
both general and vocational education and training/skilling. A High-Level
Committee comprised of representatives from the UGC, AICTE, CBSE,
NCERT, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Skill Development, etc. collectively
produced the NCrF. An umbrella framework for skilling, re-skilling,
up-skilling, accreditation, and assessment in educational and skilling
institutions and workforce is called NCrF, and it is suggested as part of NEP
2022. To enable flexibility and mobility between them, NCrF aims to
integrate credits gained through formal education, postsecondary
education, and vocational and skill education.

Bhasha Sangam Initiative was developed by the National Council of


Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and launched by the Ministry of
Education as part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme to teach
basic sentences used in daily life in 22 scheduled Indian languages (eighth
schedule languages). Additionally, 100 sentences are presented in audio and
video format using Indian Sign Language. By this Bhasha Sangam
programme, school students will be able to become familiar with all the
languages, including their scripts, pronunciation, and grammar. available
through 22 books, ePathshala, and DIKSHA.

Samagra Shiksha Scheme = Ministry of Education + To treat school


education holistically without segmentation from pre-kindergarten to Class
XII + To ensure inclusive and equitable quality education at all levels of
school education + It envisions the "school" as a continuum from preschool,
primary, upper primary, secondary, and senior secondary levels + It
absorbed the three former Schemes of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA),
Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abh Under Samagra Shiksha, States and UTs
receive support for improving already-existing government schools as well
as for the creation and expansion of infrastructure facilities based on
proposals submitted by the respective States/UTs. Additionally, the scheme
provides all government schools with an annual recurring composite school
grant that ranges from '25,000' to '1,00,000' depending on the number of
students enrolled.

Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) Phase-III =


Ministry of Education. aims to enhance the calibre of engineering education.
+ In 2002, the ministry of Human Resource and Development launched the
TEQIP scheme. + The project started with the help of the World Bank. +
Phase II ended in 2021. + Focus is on the most underdeveloped states, such
as Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, North-East, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh,
etc.

Ministry of Science and Technology(MoS&T)

Manthan Platform = The Indian government's principal scientific adviser


introduces Manthan + Manthan is India's unique platform for fostering
large-scale R&D collaboration and attaining India's scientific missions and
UN SDGs +. Manthan has the ability to alter the way that social impact
innovations and solutions are developed in India. Via Information Exchange
Sessions, Exhibits, and Events, the platform will encourage information
exchanges and interactions in order to provide a framework for future
innovation, technology, and science-driven growth.

Women in Engineering, Science, and Technology (WEST) - Under the


mission of the Prime Minister's Science, Technology, and Innovation
Advisory Council (PM-STIAC), the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser
(PSA) has launched a new I-STEM programme called Women in Engineering,
Science, and Technology (WEST) = WEST. It will offer skill development
programmes, access to R&D facilities, and R&D software platforms to
scientifically minded women researchers, scientists, and technologists so
they can pursue research in science and engineering and start-ups. +
I-STEM is a national website that encourages cooperation in R&D and
technical innovation in academia and industry, as well as the sharing of
research tools and resources.

WISER Program- In accordance with the WISER Program (Women


Involvement in Science and Engineering Research), which was established
by the Indo-German Science and Technology Center (IGSTC), researchers
were given awards. It aims to increase scientific competence and provide
assistance to female researchers in Germany and India for R&D and
business projects. All STEM fields are welcome to apply to the programme.

Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) = It is a ground-breaking


Indian effort that was established in 2001 by the CSIR, the Ministry of
Science, and the Ministry of AYUSH . Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and
Yoga-related documents are available in digitised form on the TKDL in five
languages: English, German, French, Japanese, and Spanish. The primary
goals of the TKDL are to stop improper patent grants on Indian traditional
knowledge (TK) and to discourage the theft of that knowledge.

TIHAN (Technology Innovation Hub On Autonomous Navigation) =The


National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems' list of 25
technology innovation hubs includes TIHAN, one of India's first autonomous
navigation facilities for both ground and aerial vehicle testing. It also
includes a multidisciplinary initiative to make India a global player in the
next generation of "smart mobility" technology (NM-ICPS)

SATYAM Program = Cognitive Science Research Initiative (CSRI) of the


Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and
Technology + Yoga and Meditation Science and Technology (SATYAM) +
launched in 2015 to advance investigation into yoga and meditation
Recently, the Department of Science and Technology (DST) issued an
invitation for research suggestions on how yoga and meditation might be
used to combat COVID-19 and other similar viruses.

Biotech-Krishi Innovation Science Application Network (Biotech-KISAN)


Program-Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology
(DBT) + scientist-farmer cooperation programme started in 2017 + pan-India
programme

"One Week, One Lab" Campaign = Started by CSIR + The goal of this
campaign is to highlight the technological advances and breakthroughs at
each of the 37 CSIR laboratories and institutes located throughout the
nation. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which was
created by the Indian government in 1942 as an independent organisation,
has grown to become India's biggest organisation for research and
development. According to the Societies Registration Act of 1860, it is
registered as a CSIR Society.

The Quantum Frontier Mission- is a project of the Prime Minister's Science,


Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC), the Ministry of
Science and Technology, the Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology (MeitY), the Department of Space, the Department of Atomic
Energy, and the Defense Research and Development Organization. It aims to
start work on the comprehension and management of quantum mechanical
systems.

Biotech-PRIDE (Promotion of Research and Innovation via Data Exchange)-


Ministry of Science and Technology. Biotech-PRIDE Department of
Biotechnology produced the Biotech-PRIDE Guidelines (DBT),
The term "biological data" refers to, among other things, DNA sequence
data, RNA sequence data, transcriptomic data, genotype data, epigenomic
data, and protein structure data. In accordance with the NDSAP's 2012
guiding principles, guidelines have been developed to make it possible to
share, access, and store biological data.

National Supercomputing Mission (NSM)- Departments of Science and


Technology (DST) and Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) jointly
oversee and implement the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM). IIT
(BHU) installed the first supercomputer made in the country, dubbed Param
Shivay. At IITKharagpur and IISER, Pune, similar systems called Param
Shakti and Param Brahma were installed. Applications from the fields of
weather and climate, computational fluid dynamics, bioinformatics, and
material science are available on them. Please Take Notice India recently
created a domestic server (Rudra) that can satisfy the High-Performance
Computing (HPC) needs of all governments and PSUs. Along with the entire
software stack created by C-DAC, this is the first server system to be
manufactured in India.

Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD)

SAMVAD Initiative-The Ministry of Women and Child Development has


began the SAMVAD program's 2nd phase, which provides support, advocacy,
and mental health interventions for children in vulnerable circumstances
and distress (SAMVAD). The initiative aims to provide mental health
outreach for orphaned, abandoned, or trafficked children as well as those
who have run afoul of the law. It is carried out by the National Institute of
Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) with funding from MoW&CD.
It is a national project and comprehensive resource that seeks to safeguard
children, promote mental health, and provide psychosocial care for kids in
challenging situations. In order to promote awareness-building and enhance
service delivery at the basic level, the project seeks to develop care and
integration of child protection and mental health in the Panchayati Raj
systems in aspirational districts around the nation.

Digital Shakti 4.0- In order to establish a safe online environment for


women and girls, the National Commission for Women, the CyberPeace
Foundation, and Meta collaborated to develop Digital Shakti 4.0. It is a
nationwide initiative in India to empower women to use technology
effectively and to speak out against any unethical or unlawful behaviour. In
India, it seeks to sensitise more than a million women.

"CiSS application"- To aid with the rehabilitation of children living on the


streets, the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR)
has established a "CiSS application" under the Baal Swaraj portal. Bal
Swaraj is a website that NCPCR developed to follow children in need of
care and protection online and to provide a digital real-time monitoring
mechanism. According to the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights
(CPCR) Act of 2005, NCPCR is a legislative organisation.

E-Baal Nidan Portal- The National Commission for the Protection of Child
Rights (NCPCR) launched the E-Baal Nidan Portal in 2015. Anyone can lodge
a complaint regarding any violation committed against a child on this
internet platform. Recently, this portal received new features. Now that they
have access to the portal, the State Commission for Protection of Child
Rights can monitor the complaints and take appropriate action. The
categories for complaints will include juvenile justice, POCSO, labour, and
education.

National Creche Scheme.- MoWCD. a centrally financed programme plus the


National Crèche Scheme Before, the programme was known as the Rajiv
Gandhi National Creche Scheme. It intends to offer daycare services to
children of working mothers who are between the ages of 6 months and 6
years.

GHAR-GO Home and Re-Unite portal (Portal for Restoration and


Repatriation of Child) has been created and launched by the National
Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) to digitally track and
monitor the restoration and repatriation of children in accordance with the
protocol.

Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana(PMMVY) = Ministry of Women and


Child Development (MoWCD) + The scheme promises a total sum of ₹5,000,
to be given in three instalments to pregnant women and lactating mothers.
Those who receive similar benefits from their employers and government
employees are excluded from the scheme + The benefit is provided only for
the first live birth and the money is to be credited to the beneficiary’s
Aadhaar-linked savings account in different intervals over a period of
nearly 14 months. Each instalment is paid after the mothers meet certain
conditions — the first instalment after early registration of pregnancy; the
second instalment after six months of pregnancy on the completion of at
least one ante-natal check-up; and the third instalment after the
registration of childbirth and the first cycle of immunisation of the child +
The government has clubbed this with the Janani Suraksha Yojana, which
provides a benefit of ₹700-₹1,000, to claim that women will get “on an
average” ₹6,000 for every first child + Recently, Pradhan Mantri Matru
Vandana Yojana has been clubbed under SAMARTHYA along with multiple
other schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mahila Shakti Kendra and
Gender Budgeting/Research/Training.

Mission Shakti = Recently the Ministry of Women and Child Development


has issued detailed guidelines for the ‘Mission Shakti' scheme. 'Mission
Shakti' is launched as an integrated women empowerment programme as
an umbrella scheme for the safety, security and empowerment of women
for implementation during the 15th Finance Commission period 202l-22 to
2025-26. ‘Mission Shakti’ has two sub-schemes - 'Sambal' and
'Samarthya'.The "Sambal" sub-scheme is for safety and security of women,
the "Samarthya'' sub-scheme is for empowerment of women + The
components of 'Sambal' sub-scheme consist of erstwhile schemes of One
Stop Centre (OSC), Women Helpline (WHL), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)
with a new component of Nari Adalats.

Mission Vatsalya = Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) has


classified all its major programmes under three umbrella schemes i.e.
Mission Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya and Mission Shakti, for their better
implementation + Mission VATSALYA will look into child protection services
and child welfare services + Recently, the Ministry of Women and Child
Development has informed the State/UT wise number of Child Care
Institutions (CCIs), Specialized Adoption Agencies (SAA) and Open Shelters
supported under the Child Protection Services (CPS) under Mission Vatsalya.

Ministry of Labour
PENCiL Portal (PENCiL)- Platform for Effective Enforcement for No Child
Labor + Ministry for Labour and Employment.. online platform with the goal
of involving the Central and State Governments, the District, civil society,
and the general public in the fight against child labour and realising the
goal of a child labor-free society. Citizens can report instances of child
labour on the PENCIL Portal or by calling Childline-1098. The National Child
Labour Project (NCLP) Scheme aims to integrate children who have been
removed from child labour and rehabilitated into mainstream legal
institutions. aims to create a powerful authentication mechanism for
implementing and monitoring both the effective implementation of the
NCLP Scheme and the enforcement of statutory provisions.

DigiSaksham-is a digital skills programme that the Ministry of Labour and


Employment has introduced to help young people become more
employable by teaching them the skills they need in an increasingly
technologically advanced world. This project is a collaboration with
Microsoft India. More than three lakh young people would receive free
training in advanced computers as well as basic digital skills throughout the
first year.

PRAYAAS Scheme- is an effort of the EPFO and the Ministry of Labor and
Employment to provide pension payments on the day of retirement or
superannuation. Via the "PRAYAAS" project, EPFO sends pension payment
orders to retired employees under the Employees' Pension Plan, 1995.

e-SHRAM Portal- The National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW),


which will be seeded with Aadhaar, will be created using the e-SHRAM
portal. The Ministry of Labor and Employment established the eShram
portal for the welfare of unorganised sector workers who are neither EPFO
or ESIC members. It is the first national database of unorganised workers
ever created, and its members include migrant labourers, construction
workers, gig and platform workers, etc. After enrolling in the Shramik Yojana
and acquiring an e-Shram card, registered members will be entitled to a
range of benefits (With a 12-digit UAN number). Age should range from 16 to
59. Unorganised sector employees will be entitled to a 2 lakh accident
insurance policy.

Ministry of Health & Family Welfare

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission- MoH&FW is the organisation behind the


Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The main digital endeavour entails the
creation of a digital healthcare facilities and personnel registry and a unique
health ID for each citizen. Health ID: To participate in the ABDM, a person
must create a health ID, which is a 14-digit number that is produced at
random. By self-registering on the site or the ABMD Health Records app,
one can obtain a health ID. With the beneficiary's informed agreement,
Health ID will be widely used for three purposes: distinct identity,
authentication, and threading of the beneficiary's health records across
numerous systems and stakeholders. A person will need to establish up a
Personal Health Records (PHR) address for consent management and future
health record exchange. The beneficiary must sign in with a straightforward
self-declared username to access a Health Information Exchange and
Consent Manager (HIE-CM). An HIE-CM is an application that enables users
to share and link their personal health records.

Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission = Ministry of Health and


Family Welfare (MoH&FW). It is one of the biggest national initiatives to
improve the country's healthcare system (Both rural and urban). Together
with the National Health Mission, it exists. By this, all of the districts in the
country with a population of more than five lakh people would have access
to exclusive critical care hospital blocks, and the remaining districts will
receive coverage through referral services. The plan calls for the
establishment of a national institution for one health, four new national
institutes for virology, a regional research hub for the WHO South East Asia
Region, nine laboratories with biosafety level III, and five new regional
national centres for disease control.

Eat Right Station Certification = 'Eat Well Station' accreditation is given by


the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to train stations
that set standards for serving healthy food to travellers + The station
receives a certificate upon the completion of an audit by a third-party audit
agency appointed by the FSSAI with ratings ranging from 1 to 5 + The
certification is associated with the "Eat Right India" campaign. (The Eat
Right Movement is an FSSAI initiative that seeks to improve the nation's
food system in order to ensure that all Indians have access to safe,
wholesome, and sustainable food. Its slogan is "Sahi Bhojan, Behtar
Jeevan.")

E-Sanjeevani Platform -Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) +
E-Sanjeevani Platform E-Sanjeevani is a browser-based, platform-neutral
programme that enables doctor-to-doctor and patient-to-doctor
teleconsultations. Under the auspices of the Ayushman Bharat Health and
Wellness Centers (AB-HWCs) programme, it is being carried out.

Paalan 1000 app = Ministry of Health + Government launched a new app


called Paalan 1000, National Campaign and Parenting App, to assist parents.
"Paalan 1000" focuses on how children's brains grow throughout the first
two years of life. The software will give carers useful guidance on what they
can do in their daily lives and will help dispel confusion.

Nikshay Mitras = Ni-kshay Mitra is basically a crowdfunding model – a large


number of people contributing small amounts. Any individual or
organisation can register as Ni-kshay Mitra on the Nikshay 2.0 portal to
support people affected by the disease. The minimum period of
commitment for providing the support to the TB patient will be one year +
The initiative ensures three-pronged support includes: Nutritional,
Additional diagnostic, and Vocational support. The programme was brought
in to fill the critical ``community’’ elements into India’s fight towards the
Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan aimed at eliminating TB by 2025.
With more focus on nutritional improvement among TB patients, the Union
Health Ministry launched the Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana in 2018 as part of
National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) which provides direct cash
benefit transfer of ₹500 per month to TB patients on treatment

Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 3.0 =Ministry of Health and Family Welfare


(MoH&FW). 3rd Phase of Mission Indradhanush. It is being conducted in
pre-identified 250 districts/urban areas across 29 States/UTs in the
country + This is aimed to accelerate the full immunisation of children and
pregnant women through a mission mode intervention. Beneficiaries from
migration areas and hard to reach areas will be targeted as they may have
missed their vaccine doses during the pandemic. Mission Indradhanush
was launched by the Government of India in 2014. It was aimed to
strengthen and reenergize the programme and achieve full immunisation
coverage for all children and pregnant women. The ultimate goal of Mission
Indradhanush is to ensure full immunisation with all available vaccines for
children up to two years of age and pregnant women. It provides
vaccination against 12 VaccinePreventable Diseases (VPD) i.e. diphtheria,
Whooping cough, tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, hepatitis B, meningitis and
pneumonia, Haemophilus influenzae type B infections, Japanese
encephalitis (JE), rotavirus vaccine, pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV)
and measles-rubella (MR). However, Vaccination against Japanese
Encephalitis and Haemophilus influenzae type B is being provided in
selected districts of the country

TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare


(MOHFW) launched this programme to hasten the nation's progress towards
TB eradication by 2025. India accounts for more than 25% of all TB patients
worldwide despite having fewer than 20% of the global population. All
countries have set the target of eliminating TB by the year 2030 in
accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
Nonetheless, the Indian government has set the year 2025 as the deadline
for TB eradication. Abhiyaan is supported by three different channels:
dietary; additional diagnostic; and support for employment.

Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises


(MSME)

Sambhav Programme- is the name of the national-level awareness


campaign that the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) is
running. 130 field offices of the Ministry of MSME will promote the project
for one month, encouraging students from various institutions and ITIs to
pursue entrepreneurship.

Udyam Sakhi Portal was established in 2018 to enlighten current and


potential female entrepreneurs on the financial policies, programmes, and
schemes of the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
UDYAM SAKHI is a network for encouraging social entrepreneurship that
develops business plans centred on inexpensive goods and services to
address social imbalances. The portal aids women in starting, developing,
and expanding their businesses.

Project RE-HAB (Reducing Elephant-Human Attacks Using Bees) was


introduced in Karnataka in 2021 as a trial programme. The National Honey
Mission of KVIC includes Project Re- Hab as a component. The Khadi &
Village Industries Commission is behind the project (KVIC). This initiative is
being carried out by it in seven states throughout the nation, namely
Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Assam, and Orissa. Bee-box fence is
constructed as part of this project in places where elephants move near
human settlements and agricultural fields. Bee-box fencing along elephant
movement routes also serves to obstruct the path of wild elephants.
Project (BOLD)Bamboo Oasis on Drought-Affected Lands- is a project that
the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Ministry of MSME,
launched (BOLD). On 16 acres of bare desert land in Rajasthan, 5000
saplings of the unique bamboo species Bambusa Tulda and Bambusa
Polymorpha from Assam were planted as part of the initiative. These
bamboo species were chosen because they can be harvested in about three
years and grow quite quickly. It is India's first exercise of its type. It aims to
turn arid and semi-arid land zones into bamboo-based green spaces.

The National SC-ST Hub Scheme is being carried out by the Ministry of
MSME's National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). The goal of the
National SC-ST Hub is to create an ecosystem that supports SC/ST
entrepreneurs so they can meet the 4% procurement requirement set forth
in the Central Government's Public Procurement Policy for Micro and Small
Businesses. Scheme applicable to SC/ST Business Owners, Current and
Future.

SPIN Scheme- In order to empower the underprivileged potters, the Khadi


and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Ministry of MSME, introduced the
Strengthening the Potential of India (SPIN) Scheme and established a
pottery cluster under the SFURTI Plan in Varanasi. A specially created
no-subsidy programme called SPIN Scheme enables potters to become
self-sufficient. It makes it possible for registered potters to easily obtain
direct bank loans through the Pradhan Mantri Shishu Mudra Yojana. In
accordance with the SPIN Program, KVIC facilitates financial assistance to
potters through RBL bank and offers training to the artisans. The potter will
repay the loan in manageable installments, so there won't be any financial
pressure on the exchequer.

MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Program-For MSMEs with Udyam


registrations, the Ministry of MSME has introduced the MSME Sustainable
(ZED) Certification Program. It is an updated version of the 2016-launched
Zero Defect, Zero Effect (ZED) system. It intends to encourage and motivate
MSMEs to pursue Zero Defect Zero Impact (ZED) certification while also
enabling and facilitating the adoption of ZED practises. There are three
levels of certification that can be obtained: bronze, silver, and gold. Through
ZED Certification, MSMEs would also have access to a provision of up to Rs.
5 lakhs (per MSME) for assistance and consulting.

Ministry of External Affairs


The MADAD portal has been created so that consumers may submit online
complaints regarding the consular services provided by Indian
Missions/Posts abroad. released in 2015 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Government initiatives to involve the Indian Diaspora =

● Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas is a government-sponsored celebration that


was first held in 2003 to recognise the contribution of the Indian
diaspora to India's growth.
● It was created to facilitate better connection with Pravasi Bhartiyas
and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
● Pravasi Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PKVY) is a Ministry of External Affairs
skill development programme that aims to improve the skill set of
potential emigrant workers in specific sectors and job roles. Know
India Programme is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora
youth that is designed to promote awareness on various aspects of
life in India.
● Vaishwik Bharatiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAV) Summit: It aims to bring out
comprehensive roadmap to leverage the expertise and knowledge of
global Indian researcher for solving emergingchallenges + Vaishwik
Bharatiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAV) Summit is a collaborative initiative by
S&T and Academic Organisations of India to enable deliberations on
thought process, practices and R&D culture with a problem solving
approach for well defined objectives.
● Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF): set up in 2009, is aimed at
assisting Overseas Indian nationals in times of distress and
emergency in the ‘most deserving cases’ on a ‘means tested basis’. At
the national level, India has established such funds which levy small
fees

Gen Next Democracy Network was a project operated by the Indian Council
for Cultural Relations, and it brought young people from democratic nations
to India. Participants came from six different countries: Ghana, Bangladesh,
Peru, Nepal, Brunei, and Norway. In the course of the programme, they learn
about the history, culture, and political system of India.

Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare

PM Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) = Central Government’s flagship crop


insurance scheme launched in 2016. it replaced the earlier two schemes
National Agricultural Insurance Scheme and Modified NAIS aims to provide
insurance and financial support to farmers in the event of crop failure and
targets to bring 50% of cultivated area under crop insurance. scheme was
made voluntary for all farmers(which was one of the challenges in success
of the scheme) after its revamp in February 2020. Further, the states
have also been provided flexibility to rationalise the sum insured so that
adequate benefit can be availed by farmers. All farmers growing notified
crops in a notified area during the season who have insurable interest in
the crop are eligible + Coverage of Crops: State government notifies major
crops for the Rabi and Kharif seasons[So, NOT for all crops]. Farmers pay
just 1.5% premium for rabi, 2% premium for kharif and 5% for commercial
crops. all farmers in a particular area must pay the same premium and
have the same claim payments. It aims to prevent sowing/planting risks,
loss to standing crop, postharvest losses and localised calamities (no
revenue protection)

Bhartiya Prakritik Krishi Padhati, - Minister for Agriculture and Farmers'


Welfare . Since 2020–2021, a sub-scheme of the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas
Yojana (PKVY) has been in place to promote indigenous traditional practises.
emphasises the elimination of all synthetic chemical inputs and encourages
the recycling of biomass on farms, with special focus on biomass mulching,
the use of cow dung-urine formulations, plant-based preparations, and
periodic soil aeration. For the purposes of cluster creation, capacity
building, continual hand holding by qualified staff, certification, and residue
analysis, financial assistance of Rs. 12200/ha for three years is offered.

Agriculture Investment Portal- Agricultural Ministry's launch of the


Agriculture Investment Portal. The portal will be a centralised one-stop
shop where agri-investors can access the benefits of the numerous
government programmes run by the various agencies involved in agriculture
and associated industries. The goal is to increase investments, make it
easier for investors to receive guidance, unlock the potential of all
agricultural subsectors, etc.

Crop Residue Management (CRM) Programme- Ministry of Agriculture and


Farmers Welfare. started in 2018 with the goal of getting farmers in the
northern region to stop burning crop leftovers, which causes pollution. The
programme provides farmers with equipment for on-site crop residue
management through the construction of CHCs (Custom Hiring Centers).

Kritagya 3.0- The National Agricultural Higher Education Programme


(NAHEP) and Crop Science Division of the Indian Council of Agricultural
Research (ICAR) organised the national hackathon known as Kritagya 3.0.
Ensure overall sustainability and resilience in crop production in India by
promoting rapid breeding for crops. Also, it provides a chance for students,
faculty, entrepreneurs, and innovators and encourages a larger uptake of
technology-enabled solutions in the nation.

Participatory Guarantee System for India (PGS-India)- Minister for


Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. PGS is the procedure used to certify
organic goods. The certification takes the form of a statement or a recorded
logo. Only farmers or communities with the ability to organise and function
as a group are eligible for PGS certification. PGS does not cover individual
farmers or farmer groups with fewer than five members. PGS is relevant to
all on-farm activities, including raising cattle and growing and processing
crops. PGS does not cover off-farm processing operations by individuals or
organisations that are not PGS farmers, such as storage, transportation, and
value-added work.

Project CHAMAN-stands for Coordinated Program on Horticulture


Assessment & Management Using Geo-Informatics and the Minister for
Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. MIDH + was started in 2014 with the goal
of improving horticulture assessment and development through remote
sensing, GIS, and field surveys. India is the second-largest producer after
China, producing 13% of the world's fruits and 21% of its vegetables.
Moreover, India is the world's top producer of papaya, okra, mango, lime,
and lemons.

Horticulture Cluster Development Program- Ministry of Agriculture and


Farmers' Welfare (MoA&FW) to promote holistic development of horticulture
+ central sector Program. National Horticultural Board implemented (NHB).
Shopian (J&K) and Kinnaur (H.P.) for Apple are two examples of clusters.
Mahbubnagar (Telangana), Kutch (Gujarat), and Lucknow (U.P.) for Mango
Theni (T.N.) and Anantpur (A.P.) for Banana Solapur, M.H., and Chitradurga,
Karnataka, for pomegranates; Nasik, M.H., for grapes; Siphahijala, Tripura,
for pineapple; and West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, for turmeric.

Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH)- Minister for


Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare + Centrally Sponsored Program
implemented from 2014–15 under the Green Revolution. Including fruits,
vegetables, root and tuber crops, mushrooms, spices, flowers, fragrant
plants, coconut, cashew, cocoa, and bamboo, the Krishonnati Yojana seeks
to promote the horticulture industry holistically. In all states, the
Government of India (GOI) contributes 60% to developmental programmes,
with the exception of the North Eastern and Himalayan States, where the
State Governments contribute 40%. In these two regions, the GOI
contributes 90%.

Minimum Support Price (MSP) = Minister for Agriculture and Farmers'


Welfare. Central government has hiked the minimum support price (MSP)
for common paddy to ₹1,940 a quintal for the coming kharif season, less
than 4% higher than last year’s price of ₹1,868. The decision was taken by
the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs[Remember the Body] + MSP is
the rate at which the government purchases crops from farmers, and is
based on a calculation of at least one-and-a-half times the cost of
production incurred by the farmers. Commission for Agricultural Costs &
Prices (CACP) recommends MSPs for 22 mandated crops and fair and
remunerative price (FRP) for sugarcane. CACP is an attached office of the
Ministry of Agriculture + The mandated crops includes 14 crops of the kharif
season, 6 rabi crops and 2 other commercial crops. In addition, the MSPs
of toria and de-husked coconut are fixed on the basis of the MSPs of
rapeseed/mustard and copra, respectively. CACP does not do any
field-based cost estimates itself. It makes projections using state-wise,
crop-specific production cost estimates provided by the Directorate of
Economics & Statistics in the Agriculture Ministry + CACP projects three
kinds of production cost for every crop, both at state and all-India average
levels.
● ‘A2’ Covers all paid-out costs directly incurred by the farmer in cash
and kind on seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, hired labour, leased-in land,
fuel, irrigation, etc.
● ‘A2+FL’ Includes A2 plus an imputed value of unpaid family labour.
● ‘C2’ It is a more comprehensive cost that factors in rentals and
interest forgone on owned land and fixed capital assets, on top of
A2+FL

PM-KISAN, short for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Programme, is


2018. The Central Sector Scheme. It enables eligible farmer families who
own land to receive 6,000 per year in three equal payments of 2,000 each,
distributed every four months. The beneficiaries' bank accounts receive the
instalment right away. The PM-KISAN Scheme does not allocate and

Government of India, to improve the quality of farmer-saved seeds. Goal to
increase the supply of farm-saved seeds to increase crop output. State
Departments of Agriculture, State Agriculture Universities, KVKs, the
National Seeds Corporation, the State Farms Corporation of India, the State
Seeds Certification Agencies, and the Dept. of Seed Certification are the
implementing agencies. The State Government will designate one
implementing agency that will be in charge of the region or location. Up to
one acre of foundation/certified seed distribution funding is offered to each
farmer. For cereal crops, these seeds are provided at 50% of seed cost, and
for crops of pulses, oilseeds, fodder, and green manure, at 60% of seed
cost.

Ministry of Textiles

System for Refund of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL) =
RoSCTL is provided for embedded state and central taxes and levies that
are not returned by the Goods and Services Tax (GST). The RoSL (Rebate of
State Levies) scheme was superseded by the RoSCTL in 2019 + after the
implementation of GST in 2017. It was introduced by the Ministry of Textile.
The programme is relevant to the export of clothing and other items.

Pradhan Mantri - Mega Integrated Textile Region And Apparel Parks


Scheme (PM MITRA). Ministry of Textiles =To build a comprehensive,
large-scale, and cutting-edge industrial infrastructure facility for the whole
textile industry value chain, plus a Greenfield and Brownfield PM MITRA
Park: The Government of India will provide Development Capital Support
(DCS) at a rate of 30% of the project cost, up to a maximum of INR 500
crore and INR 200 crore per park for new construction and redevelopment
projects, respectively. Parks will be built using the
Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) format and a Master
Developer (MD) model based on Public Private Partnerships (PPP).

PM MITRA Parks Scheme- The Ministry of Textiles implemented the PM


MITRA Parks Scheme. Its objective is to assist India in achieving Sustainable
Development Goal 9 of the UN, which is to "Build resilient infrastructure,
promote sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation." The
establishment of a complete textiles value chain, encompassing spinning,
weaving, processing/dying, and printing, as well as garment manufacture,
will be possible at PM MITRA Parks. Each Park will contain a textile-related
incubation facility, a common processing facility, a common effluent
treatment facility, and other amenities including design and testing centres.
The Industrial Park will be developed and maintained by the Master
Developer throughout the concession period. A Challenge Method will be
used to choose the locations for PM MITRA Parks based on objective
criteria.

National Technical Textiles Mission is a bid to grow the domestic market to


$40–$50 billion by 2024, plus the Ministry of Textiles. The goal is to elevate
the nation's position as a world leader in technical textiles and boost
domestic demand for them. The Mission will be carried out over the course
of four years, beginning in 2020 and ending in 2021. The first part will
concentrate on innovation and research and development. The second part
will focus on expanding and promoting the market for technical textiles.
Promotion of exports will be the third component's main focus. Training,
education, and skill development will make up the final element.

Ministry of Law & Justice

Tele-Law Initiative- The Department of Justice's (Ministry of Law & Justice)


2017-launched Tele-Law Initiative is a trustworthy and effective e-interface
and pre-litigation tool. By linking marginalised people in need of legal
assistance with Panel Attorneys via the tele/video conferencing
infrastructure offered at Common Service Centers (CSCs) located
throughout 1 lakh Gram Panchayats, Tele-Law mainstreams legal aid to
them.
Legal Information Management & Briefing System (LIMBS)- The Ministry of
Law & Justice developed the Legal Information Management & Briefing
System (LIMBS), a web-based system for tracking and managing various
court matters involving Government Departments and Ministries. It will
assist authorities in "data driven decision making," performance evaluation
of different stakeholders, and legal audits.

FASTER System = Ministry of Law & Justice and Supreme Court has been
developed to provide for the safe electronic transmission of important
decisions, such as rulings on bail and stays of arrest, to prison
administrations and law enforcement organisations. Electronic records are
transmitted quickly and securely (FASTER). The system is designed to
prevent undertrials from having to spend days in custody before being freed
since it takes some time for the certified physical copies of their bail orders
to get to the prison. Even after the court had already given someone
protection, the system would stop unwarranted detention and arrests. It
might even convey a stay of execution that was timely ordered by the final
court.

Electronic Supreme Court Reports (E-SCR)- The Chief Justice of India


announced the beginning of the Electronic Supreme Court Reports (E-SCR)
Initiative to give the general public access to court decisions. E-SCR is a
project to give a digital version of Supreme Court decisions in the same
format as those decisions are reported in the official Supreme Court
Reports legal report.

S3WaaS Websites = Projects Started Under E-Court. It is a framework for


creating, setting up, deploying, and managing websites for the publication of
particular data and services pertaining to district judiciary. A cloud service
called S3WaaS was created for use by government organisations to create
websites that are secure, scalable, and accessible. It is divyang-friendly,
multilingual, and tolerant of its citizens.

The National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG) was developed as an online


platform under the eCourts Project and contains a database of orders,
judgements, and case information from 18,735 District & Subordinate Courts
and High Courts. The Taluka and District courts that are connected update
data almost instantly. It offers information on all of the country's
computerised district and subordinate courts' judicial processes and
decisions. All High Courts have also joined the NJDG via web services, giving
the general public who litigates convenient access. In NJDG, case
information is provided for both civil and criminal cases, and drill-down
analysis based on the case's age as well as the State and District can be
performed.

National Mission for Justice Delivery and Legal Reforms = Ministry of Law
and Justice + centrally supported initiative. initiated in 1993–1994 to
increase state resources and provide infrastructure for subordinate
judiciary, including courthouses, digital computer rooms, etc. The improved
"Nyaya Vikas-2.0" web portal and mobile application are used to track the
scheme's financial and physical development. In accordance with the Gram
Nyayalayas Act of 2008, which was recently extended for an additional five
years, the Cabinet has sanctioned Rs 50 crore for Gram Nyayalayas
infrastructure as part of the National Mission for Justice Delivery and Legal
Reforms.

Ministry of Ayush

SMART Program = The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine


(NCISM) and Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS)
have developed the SMART (Scope for Mainstreaming Ayurveda Research in
Teaching Professionals) programme (MoA). Through Ayurveda colleges and
hospitals, it aims to advance scientific research in key areas of healthcare,
such as Iron Deficiency Anaemia and Obesity. It will inspire professors to
take on initiatives in certain fields of medical research and build a sizable
database.

SPARK PRogramm- The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences


(CCRAS) has developed the Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research Ken
(SPARK) for Ayurveda (BAMS) students enrolled in accredited Ayurveda
colleges as part of an initiative to encourage the country's youth's research
endeavours.

National Ayush Mission (NAM) = It was launched in 2014 by the Department


of Ayush, MoHFW to promote Ayush systems and address the needs of the
sector in a comprehensive way. Main Objectives: Providing cost- effective
services, strengthening educational systems, quality control of drugs and
sustainable availability of raw materials, etc + Under the ‘Medicinal Plants’
component of the NAM scheme (2015–16 to 2020–21), the cultivation of
prioritised medicinal plants in identified clusters/zones is being supported.
For the cultivation of plants, subsidies at 30%, 50% and 75% of the
cultivation cost for 140 medicinal plants are being pro-vided + The National
Medicinal Plant Board (NMPB) implements the medicinal plant component
of Ayush through state bodies ー State Medici-nal Plant Boards (SMPBs).
The Ministry of Finance has announced a ₹4000- crore package under the
Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan for the promotion of herbal cultivation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the WHO- Global
Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar on April 19, 2022. This was the
first and only global outpost centre for traditional medicine across the
world.

AYURSWASTHYA Yojana- The Ministry of Ayush is implementing the


AYURSWASTHYA Yojana, which combines two previous programmes from
this Ministry: the Central Sector Scheme of Grant-in-Aid for Promotion of
AYUSH Intervention in Public Health Initiatives (PHI) and the Central Sector
Scheme for Assistance to AYUSH Organizations (Government /
Non-Government Non-Profit) Engaged in AYUSH Education, Drug
Development & Research, Clinical Research, etc. The highest amount of
money that can be given to an organisation or institution under the Centre
of Excellence component of the AYURSWASTHYA Yojana is Rs. 10,000 crores
for a maximum of three years.

Ministry of Commerce & Industry

Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS)- the Department for


Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) announced the creation of
the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS). It intends to offer credit
guarantees to loans made by Scheduled Commercial Banks, Non-Banking
Financial Companies, and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) registered
with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to support qualified
Startups. It was planned under the Startup India Action Plan, which was
introduced in 2016. National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company Limited will
run the scheme.

The RoDTEP (Refund of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products)


Programme is the Commerce Ministry of India's major export promotion
programme. The program's goal is to reimburse exporters for embedded
federal, state, and municipal taxes and tariffs that were previously not
repaid or rebated. RoDTEP was unveiled in 2019 with the intention of
boosting domestic exports and replacing the Merchandise Exports from
India (MEIS) scheme, which provided export subsidies for a variety of goods.
This was in response to a WTO ruling that found the MEIS scheme to be in
violation of the trade agency's rules. Beginning on January 1, 2021, the
government decided to extend the RoDTEP scheme's benefits to all items.
Paper Import Monitoring System (PIMS) = The Ministry of Trade and
Industry changed the import policy for major paper products from "Free" to
"Free subject to Compulsory Registration" under PIMS. With effect starting
on October 1, 2022, registration is required for the importation of 201
different types of paper, including newsprint, handmade paper, envelopes,
etc. Currency paper, security printing paper, etc. are not included. By
resolving dumping issues, preventing the rerouting of goods through other
nations in place of trade agreements, and promoting Made in India in the
paper industry, PIMS defends the indigenous paper industry.

National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM)- As part of


"Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav," the National Intellectual Property Awareness
Mission (NIPAM), a flagship programme to spread IP awareness and provide
basic training, was introduced in 2021. The Intellectual Property Office, the
Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and TradeMarks (CGPDTM),
and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are carrying out the
programme. Its objective is to educate 1 million students on intellectual
property and their legal rights.

Government e Marketplace (GeM)- The Directorate General of Supply and


Disposals (DGS&D) created the Government e Marketplace (GeM) = 2016 +
portal with technical assistance from NeGD (MeitY). envisioned by the
Indian government as the country's national procurement portal, which the
PMO office directly oversees. An online platform for government users that
uses technology to improve public procurement's transparency,
effectiveness, and speed. To help government users get the most for their
money, it offers the e-bidding, reverse e-auction, and demand aggregation
technologies. It is a platform that provides an end-to-end solution without
the use of paper, money, or touch.

Foreign Investment Facilitation Portal (FIFP) is a new single-point internet


interface created by the Indian government to help investors with Foreign
Direct Investment (FDI). It is managed by the Ministry of Commerce &
Industry's Directorate for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
Applications that go through the approval path can be cleared through a
single window. Five years have passed since the prior Foreign Investment
Promotion Board (FIPB) was abolished in 2017.

Mentoring, Advice, Assistance, Resilience and Growth (MAARG) Portal =


Recently, the Directorate for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade
(DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, issued a call for startup
applications for registration on the MAARG portal. The National Mentoring
Platform by Startup India is the MAARG platform. It is a one-stop platform
that enables mentorship for entrepreneurs in a variety of industries, roles,
stages, locations, and backgrounds.

The National Import-Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade (NIRYAT)


Portal is also known as NIRYAT. As a one-stop shop for all information
required on India's overseas trade, a recently developed website. By giving
all stakeholders access to real-time data, it will assist in dismantling silos.

National Single Window System (NSWS)- Minister of Trade and Industry.


The Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Directorate for Promotion of
Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) created NSWS for investors and
companies. It is a digital platform that helps investors and entrepreneurs
find and apply for approvals according on their company's needs. The
platform is designed to be used as a guide tool exclusively, serving as an
advising tool to identify approvals based on user input. The NSWS portal
was created to house approvals from 14 States and 32 Central
Departments.

e-SANTA Platform- The Ministry of Trade and Industry launched the


e-SANTA Platform with the goal of connecting aqua farmers and
purchasers. Electronic Solution for Augmenting NaCSA Farmers' Trade in
Aquaculture is known as e-SANTA. While exporters are allowed to list their
requirements, farmers are free to advertise their products and provide a
price. The fact that the platform is available in several languages will
benefit the local populace. Trade can be done online on the platform by
producers and exporters that have registered with the Marine Products
Export Development Authority (MPEDA).

The PM Gati-Shakti National Master Plan- often known as the PM Gati


Shakti Master Plan (2021), is a rupees 100 lakh Crore project for "holistic
infrastructure" development. In the following four years, it seeks to
guarantee the speed (Gati) and power (Shakti) of infrastructure projects,
with an emphasis on accelerating on-the-ground work, cutting expenses
and creating jobs, and lowering the logistics cost. The strategy intends to
reduce the country's logistics costs from the current 13–14% of GDP to
approximately 8% of GDP in roughly five years and move the nation into the
top 25 nations in terms of logistics performance by 2030.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has
been creating the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2020 since 2014 to
guide Ease of Doing Business improvements across the nation. Based on
301 reform points addressing 15 business regulation areas, it has
categorised States and UTs into Top Achievers, Achievers, Aspirers, and
Developing Business Ecosystems. This covers topics like information access,
single-window systems, sectoral reforms, reforms that cover the entire

Districts as Export Hub (DEH) Initiative = The Department of Commerce's


Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and the Department for
Promoting Industry and Internal Trade have launched the "Districts as
Export Hub (DEH) Initiative" (DPIIT). All districts have been designated as
having export-ready goods and services, including GI products, agricultural
clusters, toy clusters, etc. Programs for exporting recognised goods and
services to foreign markets are being developed by districts. Scheme

(FTP). In accordance with the plan, District Export Promotion Committees

Start-Ups Intellectual Property Protection (SIPP- Established in 2016, the


Start-Ups Intellectual Property Protection (SIPP) Program enables start-ups
to submit patent, design, and trademark applications through authorised
facilitators at inconvenient IP offices while merely paying the required
costs. Through the assistance of IP Facilitators, whose fees were covered by
the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trademarks,
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of
India, the scheme assisted startups in the filing and processing of their
patent, design, or trademark application. After being implemented
successfully and leading to a considerable rise in Startups filing IP, the
Scheme was extended for a further three years, ending on March 31, 2023.

Ministry of Home Affairs(MoHA)

Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) = Ministry of Home Affairs +


Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) is a large-scale project with
the goal of gradually integrating the Crime and Criminals Tracking Network
and Systems (CCTNS) project with the databases for e-courts and e-prisons
as well as with other pillars of the criminal justice system like forensics,
prosecution, and juvenile homes. The ICJS, funded by the MHA under the
CCTNS project, offers a nationwide search on police, jails, and judicial
databases across all States and UTs in the nation.

Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) From 2009-
Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been
implementing CCTNS as a "Mission Mode Project (MMP)" after extensive
engagement with all stakeholders. By the application of e Governance
principles, CCTNS seeks to develop a complete and integrated system for
improving the effectiveness and efficiency of police at all levels, particularly
at the Police Station level. Ninety-nine percent of police stations now use
CCTNS. Direct registration of FIRs is 100 percent in CCTNS.

National Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NAFIS)- The NCRB


at the Central Fingerprint Bureau (CFPB)conceptualised and oversees the
National Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NAFIS). It is a
nationwide, searchable database of fingerprints connected to crimes and
criminal activity. combines fingerprint information from all states and Union
Territories to serve as a central information repository. Each person who is
caught for a crime will be given a special 10-digit National Fingerprint
Number (NFN), which will be used for the rest of their lives and be
connected to a variety of crimes reported under various FIRs. Every
arrested person in the CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network &
Systems) database will receive a special identification number.
India's first Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFI), Fingerprint
Analysis & Crime Tracking System (FACTS 1.0), was created in 1992.

Rashtriya Puruskar Portal- by the Ministry of Home Affairs. To ensure


openness and public participation, it attempts to compile all of the Awards
from the many Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the Government of
India onto a single digital platform. With the help of this portal, residents
will be able to submit nominations for a number of awards established by
the Indian government, such as the Padma Awards, the Sardar Patel
National Unity Award, the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, and
the Jeevan Raksha Padak series of Awards.

Vibrant Village Program (VVP)- Ministry of Home Affairs. It was declared in


the 2022 Budget Address. In states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and
Arunachal Pradesh along India's border with China, VVP aims to improve
infrastructure in communities. Building infrastructure, such as homes,
tourist attractions, and road connectivity, as well as offering decentralised
renewable energy, direct-to-home access to Doordarshan and educational
channels, and assistance with livelihood creation are all activities covered
by the VVP. The strategy plans to encompass border settlements along the

National Integrated Database on Arrested Narco-offenders (NIDAAN Portal):
For use by various national and state prosecution organisations entrusted
with upholding the nation's anti-drugs legislation, the NIDAAN Portal has
been made active. The Narcotics Control Bureau is the organisation that
created it (NCB). It is a pioneering gateway providing information on drug
offenders. Data about those suspected of drug offences who have been
detained and imprisoned as well as those who are directly or indirectly
involved in the production, manufacture, import, or export of any narcotics

Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD)

economy. The Manthan platform encourages corporate and academic
research collaboration to help India achieve its national goals and SDGs.
One of the Ministry of Rural Development's signature programmes to reduce
poverty, DAY-NRLM aims to build strong institutional foundations for the
rural poor.

The Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) System- Developed


by the Department of Land Resources, was introduced last year. Within a
year, the Center intends to assign a 14-digit identification number to each
land parcel in the nation. Thereafter, on a voluntary basis, it will combine its
database of land records with revenue court records, bank records, and
Aadhaar numbers. The Digital India Land Records Modernization Plan
(DILRMP), which started in 2008, is now at this stage.

National Mobile Monitoring System =The Ministry of Rural Development.


National Mobile Monitoring Software (NMMS) App in 2002. This software
aims to increase transparency and guarantee proper scheme monitoring.
The NMMS App enables geo-tagged photos and real-time employee
attendance tracking at Mahatma Gandhi NREGA labour sites. The app aids
in enhancing programme citizen oversight. The Mahatma Gandhi NREGA
workers in all the States and Union Territories are covered via the National
Mobile Monitoring App. As of January 1, 2023, all employees hired under the
Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Program
(MGNREGA) must digitally record their attendance, according to a recent
decree from the national government.

Yuktdhara Portal = The Ministry of Rural Development recently introduced a


new geospatial planning portal, "Yuktdhara," to assist in supporting the new
MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act)
assets with the use of remote sensing and GIS-based data. It is the result
of cooperative work by the Ministry of Rural Development and the Indian
Space Research Organization (ISRO) to establish a G2G
(Government-to-Government) service for rural planning in support of
decentralised decision-making. ISRO's Geoportal Bhuvan, which was
previously launched, is now the de facto geospatial platform for many
Indian development planning initiatives.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana.- Ministry of Rural


Development (DDU-GKY) 2014. It is a National Rural Livelihood Mission
initiative that links skill training to demand-driven placements (NRLM). In
order to diversify income and permit persistent upward mobility out of
poverty, it uses skill training and placement in wage jobs as a tool.
DDU-GKY focuses exclusively on rural children from low-income families
between the ages of 15 and 35.

Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) = Reorganised Indira


Awaas Yojana, PMAY-G was introduced in 2016. (IAY). IAY was introduced as
a part of RLEGP between the years 1985 and 1986. (Rural Landless
Employment Guarantee Programme). By 2022, the programme hopes to
have given every household living in a kutcha or a decrepit house a pucca
house with basic facilities. Eligibility: After thorough verification by the
Gram Sabha, beneficiaries are identified in accordance with the exclusion
criteria and housing deprivation standards established under the Socio
Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011. Object Size The unit must be at least

Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) =


2008.Rural Development Ministry. formed by the combination of two
centrally supported programmes, the Strengthening of Revenue
Administration and Updating of Land Records (SRA&ULR) and
Computerization of Land Records (CLR). It consists of three parts: the
computerization of land records, survey and re-survey, and registration.
With assistance from the Department of Land Resources' financial and
technical resources, the State Governments and UT Administrations will put
it into action. A pamphlet titled "Best Practices in Digital India Land
Records Modernization Plan (DILRMP)" was recently published by the Union
Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. The programme has now
been extended to 2023–2024 plus. In India, 94% of villages have completed
the computerization of land records (records of rights).

REWARD Programme.- The World Bank, the State Governments of


Karnataka and Odisha, and the Government of India have agreed to a $115
million. Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through
Innovative Development is known as REWARD. The project's goal is to assist
national and state organisations in implementing better watershed
management techniques to support farmers' increased resiliency to climate
change, encourage higher productivity, and support higher earnings.
Implementing land use and water management methods is referred to as
"watershed management," and it is done to safeguard and enhance the
quality of the water and other natural resources within a watershed.

Scheme for Financial Support to Digital Payments: For the fiscal year
2022–2023, the cabinet recently approved a promotion programme for
RuPay Debit Cards and low-value BHIM–UPI transactions
(person–to–merchant or P2M). This programme is being put into action by
the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technologies. Banks will receive
financial incentives for boosting Point-of-Sale (PoS), e-commerce, and
low-value BHIM UPI transactions utilising RuPay Debit Cards (P2M). The
programme will also advertise UPI LITE and UPI 123PAY as affordable and
user-friendly digital payment options, allowing for the widespread adoption
of digital payments across all industries and demographic groups. (UPI LITE

payments faster and in close to real time without an internet connection.

(SAMRIDH)" programme- The "Start-up Accelerators of MeitY for Product


Innovation, Development and growth (SAMRIDH)" programme was recently
introduced by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY).
Its goal is to provide an environment that will enable Indian software
product start-ups to improve their goods and secure funding to expand
their businesses. In the following three years, it will concentrate on
propelling the 300 start-ups by connecting them with customers, investors,
and global opportunities. Based on the start-present up's valuation and
growth stage, it will invest up to Rs 40 lakh in it through certain
accelerators. MeitY Startup Hub is putting it into practise (MSH).

SPECS Programme- Ministry of Electronics & IT's Scheme for Promotion of


Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors (SPECS). It
provides a financial incentive of 25% of capital expenditures for the
production of commodities that make up an electronic product's supply
chain. Incentives will be offered for investments made within five years
following the application's acknowledgement date. The programme is only
applicable to the target segments that make up the supply chain for an
electronic product covered by the programme. Additionally, the programme
will assist in reducing the barriers to domestic semiconductor and
electronic component production in an effort to strengthen the nation's
ecosystem for electronic manufacturing.

Jeevan Pramaan- 2014. Jeevan Pramaan is a biometrically enabled,


Aadhaar-based digital life certificate for retirees. The pensioner is not
necessary to appear in person before the Pension Disbursing Officer for
Jeevan Pramaan (Digital Life Certificate). Moreover, DLC is available digitally
and is processed immediately by the Pension Disbursing Agency, so it is not
necessary to physically present it to them (Bank, Post Office, etc.).
Moreover, every DLC has a special ID called a Pramaan-Id. Remarried or
re-employed pensioners are not eligible for the Digital Life Certificate
facility.

CPGRAM- The National Informatics Centre (Ministry of Electronics & IT


[MeitY]), in collaboration with the Directorate of Public Grievances (DPG)
and Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG)
(under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions), developed
the Centralized Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System
(CPGRAM), an online web-enabled system. It aids in effectively receiving,
resolving, and tracking public complaints.

PARAM PORUL- In Phase 2 of the National Supercomputing Mission, NIT


Tiruchirappalli has installed a cutting-edge supercomputer called Param
Porul (NSM). The majority of the parts that went into making PARAM PORUL
were produced and put together domestically. To achieve a high power
utilisation effectiveness and consequently lower operating costs, it is based
on Direct Contact Liquid Cooling technology. 15 supercomputers with a
combined 24-petaflop computing capability have been installed across the
country as part of NSM to date. The first Supercomputer built domestically
was PARAM Shivay.

India's Semiconductor Mission (ISM)- The ministry electronic and


information technology. In order for India to develop as a major worldwide
centre for electronics manufacture and design, the mission has been
established with the goal of creating a thriving semiconductor ecosystem in
addition to the displaying ecosystem. According to the plan, interested
businesses can begin applying for the Rs 76,000 crore in incentives the
central government has set aside for the development of India's
semiconductor and display manufacturing ecosystem on January 1, 2022. A
fiscal support of up to 50% of the project cost has been allowed by the
ministry in order to establish specific varieties of silicon-based
semiconductor fabs throughout India. After acceptance, financial assistance
will be given for a period of six years.

DigiLocker- The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY),


The project as part of its Digital India Initiative. Each Aadhaar holder
receives a cloud-based record for storing and using legitimate reports and
endorsements. Individuals can access the locker using their mobile number.
Users can save documents on servers provided by IT firms like Google and
Dropbox. DigiLocker can hold a Universal Resource Identifier (URI) link to
e-documents issued by several issuer departments in addition to
e-documents themselves. Customers must have an Aadhaar number to use
DigiLocker for login.

XR Startup Program = The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology


(MeitY). MeitY Startup Hub and Meta have released the list of 120 startups
and innovators for XR Startup Program. An accelerator and a grand
challenge are both parts of the XR Startup Program. Forty early-stage
start-ups working in XR technologies are supported by the Accelerator
Program. Early-stage innovations in industries like education, learning, and
skills, healthcare, gaming, and entertainment will be supported by Grand
Challenge. All integrated real-and-virtual experiences produced by
wearables and computer technologies are referred to as XR.

QSIM - Quantum Computer Simulator Toolkit- The Ministry of Electronics


and Information Technology (MeitY) recently released the QSIM - Quantum
Computer Simulator Toolkit. This toolkit enables researchers and students
to build and debug quantum code, which is crucial for creating quantum
algorithms. It is a product of the "Design and Development of Quantum
Computer Toolkit (Simulator, Workbench) and Capacity Building" project,
one of the pioneering efforts in India to address the problem of expanding
the boundaries of quantum computing research. IISc Bangalore, IIT Roorkee,
and C-DAC are working together on this project with the assistance of
MeitY.

Digital India Week- The Prime Minister launched the 2022 edition of the
Digital India Week. Catalyzing New India's Techade is the theme of the 2022
edition of Digital India Week. The programme will commemorate the first
anniversary of Digital India and show how Aadhaar, UPI, Cowin, Digilocker,
and other public digital platforms have made life easier for residents. The
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) established the
flagship programme Digital India in 2015 with the goal of transforming India
into a knowledge-based society and economy. Initiatives launched during

Digital India Bhashini- It will enable easy access to internet and digital
services in Indian languages.
● Digital India GENESIS (Gen-next Support for Innovative Startups): It is a
National Deep-tech Startup Platform, to discover, support, grow and make
successful startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities of India.
● Indiastack.global: It is a global repository of key projects implemented
under India Stack like Aadhaar, UPI, Digilocker, Cowin Vaccination Platform
etc. India Stack is the name for a set of open
APIs and digital public goods.
● myScheme: It is a service discovery platform facilitating access to
Government Schemes.
● C2S (Chips to Startup) Programme: It aims to train specialised manpower
in the area of design of semiconductor chips at Bachelors, Masters and
Research levels, and act as a catalyst for growth of Startups involved in
semiconductor design in India. It is part of the India . Semiconductor
Mission The first cohort of 30 Institutions to be supported under C2S
Programme was announced.
● Meri Pehchaan- National Single Sign-On (NSSO) for One Citizen Login: It
is a user authentication
service in which a single set of credentials provides access to multiple
online applications or services.

Ministry of Defence

SRIJAN Portal = The Ministry of Defense launched it in 2020. Department of


Defense Production created the indigenization portal. a one-stop shop
online site that gives suppliers access to pick up things that can be
indigenized is provided together with information on the defence equipment
and items that are presently being imported or that are planned to be
imported by Defense PSUs. The government will then take the appropriate
action to indigenousize these products. The indigenization of 2880
commodities now shown on this page has attracted interest from the Indian
industry.

The "SPRINT" initiative-seeks to encourage the development and


application of homegrown defence technologies by domestic businesses.
The project was launched in July 2022 at the Swavlamban seminar of the
Naval Innovation and Indigenization Organization (NIIO) in New Delhi.

integrated system for automating the sanction and disbursement of
defence pensions + were installed by the Ministry of Defense. Without
utilising a third party intermediary, this web-based system processes
pension claims and credits pension directly into the bank accounts of
defence pensioners.
