    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 008


    Series 2021

    ORAGANIZING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL(BDC) OF BARANGAY II, VICTORIAS CITY

    WHEREAS, section 107 of Republic Act 7160, or other known as the Local Government Code of 1991, mandate
    each local government unit to organize its Local Development Council which include the barangay;level;

    WHEREAS, the BDC shall be the main planning and advisory body of the barangay that set the direction of its
    economic and social development undertakings;

    WHEREAS, there is a need to organize the BDC of Barangay II, Victorias City;

    NOW, THEREFORE, I Richard Julius L. Sablan, Punong Barangay of Barangay II, Victorias City, by virtue of the
    powers vested in me by law, organize the Barangay Development Council

    Section 1. COMPOSITION. The BDC shall be composed the following:

    Chairerson: HON.Richard Julius L.Sablan Punong Barangay/Presiding Officer

    Members: Hon. Danilo S. Porras Sangguniang Barangay Member


    Hon. Teresita P. Constantino Sangguniang Barangay Member
    Hon. Feb B. Depasupil Sangguniang Barangay Member
    Hon. Marlon T. Magarillos Sangguniang Barangay Member
    Hon. Alberto G. Mateo, Jr. Sangguniang Barangay Member
    Hon. Jaime S. Baguio Sangguniang Barangay Member
    Hon. Diana P. Flores Sangguniang Barangay Member
    Hon. Joseph N. Molina SK Chairman
    Ms. Genevive Hojilla DEP ED
    Gervic Pastrana Congressman Representative
    Mr. Filmor P. Constantino (NGO) Representative
    Mr. Arnold D. Dormitorio (NGO) Representative
    Mr. John Chua (NGO) Representative
    Ms. Erlinda Parcon (NGO) Representative
    Advicer PSINP. Eduardo Corpuz Victorias City Chief of Police Officer

    Section 2. FUNCTIONS. The BDC shall exercise the following powers, duties and responsibilities:
    2.1 Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts;
    2.2 Prepare Barangay Development plans based in local requirements;
    2.3 Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local program and project; and
    2.4 Perform such other functions as may be provided by law or competent authority.

    Section 3. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: There shall be an Executive Committee of the BDC to act on
    its behalf when it is not in session.
    3.1 Composition: The Executive Committee shall be composed of the following

    3.2 Functions. The BDC Executive Committee shall exercise the following duties, responsibilities and
    powers;

    * Ensure that the decisions of the Council are faithfully carried out and implemented;
    * Act on matters requiring immediate attention or action by the Council;
    * Formulate policies, plans and programs based on the general principle
    * Act on other matters that may be authorized by the Council except the approval of the barangay
    development plan.

    EFFECTIVITY: This order shall take effect immediately
