    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 01

    Subject: ORGANIZATION/CONSTITUTION OF THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT


    COUNCIL (BDC) OF BARANGAY BUGCAON, LANTAPAN, BUKIDNON.

    Pursuant to Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as The Local Government Code of 1991 and its Implementing
    Rules and Regulations, the Barangay Development Council (BDC) of Barangay Bugcaon, Lantapan, Bukidnon is
    hereby constituted as follows:

    Section 1. Composition. The Barangay Development Council (BDC) shall be composed of the following:

    Chairman : HON. CYNTHIA R. MARAVELES - Punong Barangay

    Members : HON. CRESENCIA E. CAPARIDA-TORREON – Sangguniang Barangay Member


    HON. ROEL G. RUBA – Sangguniang Barangay Member
    HON. SHIELA LYN D. MANANGKILA-PARCO – Sangguniang Barangay Member
    HON. JONATHAN T. REFUELA – Sangguniang Barangay Member
    HON. EFREN L. GARCIA – Sangguniang Barangay Member
    HON. RAZEL Y. BAGARES – Sangguniang Barangay Member
    HON. JESUS C. CATUGO – Sangguniang Barangay Member
    HON. ROGELIO T SARILLA – Sangguniang Barangay Member/IPMR
    HON. DEVONNE DAVE C. PONFERRADA – SK Chairperson

    Section 2. Functions. The Barangay Development Council (BDC) shall have the following functions:

    1. Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts.


    2. Prepare barangay development plans based on local requirements.
    3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and projects; and
    4. Perform such other functions as may be provided by law or competent authority.

    Section 3. BDC Executive Committee. The BDC Executive Committee shall likewise be constituted with the
    following composition:

    Section 4. Functions of the BDC Executive Committee.

    1. Ensure that the decisions of the council are faithfully carried out and implemented.
    2. Act on matters requiring immediate attention or action by the council.
    3. Formulate policies, plans, and programs based on the general principles laid down by the council; and
    4. Act on other matters that may be authorized by the council.

    Section 5. BDC Secretariat. The BDC Secretariat shall be composed of the following:

    Section 6. Functions of the BDC Secretariat. The BDC Secretariat shall have the following functions:
    1. Provide technical support to the BDC.
    2. Document of the Council’s proceedings.
    3. Prepare of the Council’s reports; and
    4. Other assistance as may be required in the discharge of its functions.

    Section 7. Effectivity. This Order shall take effect immediately.

    Done this 5th day of December, 2023 in Barangay Bugcaon, Municipality of Lantapan, Province of
    Bukidnon, Philippines.
