ACOUSTIC
LOUVER ¥ Acoustic Louvers are designed for sound attenuation and for air intake or
extract to atmosphere for air-conditioning plants, enclosed car parking areas,
electrical / diesel generating plants, etc.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION
Frame : Galvanized Steel Sheet, Gauge #: 18 (1.31 mm thick)
Baffles : The Baffles are inclined at 40o and resistance to water ingress
with acoustic properties. Made from insulating material (1 thick
x 16 Kg/m3 Fiberglass) which is inert, incombustible and non-
hygroscopic. They are covered on the underside with a Perforated
G.I. Sheet, Gauge #: 22 (0.85 mm thick).
Blade : Galvanized Steel Sheet, Gauge #: 22 (0.85 mm thick)
Wire Mesh : Expanded Galvanized Steel Sheet, Gauge #: 22 (0.85 mm thick)
as standard.
Finish : White color for frame & blades as standard. Painted under
Electrostatic Polyester Powder Coated System. Other colors are
available upon request.
NOTE:
The Acoustic Louvers are made in one section up to 1,200 x 2,100 mm. Any larger sizes are
manufactured in sections for assembly on site.

ATTENUATORS ¥ Sound Attenuators are used to control noise in air-conditioning systems, on fans
& other equipments.
¥ Specially constructed to be mounted directly to the supply and/or exhaust of a
rectangular duct.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION
Outer Casing : Galvanized Steel Sheet, Gauge #: 20 (1.01 mm thick) Lock
formed and all fixing by rivets for strength and rigidity.
(Standard Length: 48 (1,200 mm)
Baffles : Perforated Galvanized Steel Sheet, Gauge #: 22 (0.85 mm
thick) with 33% free area, filled with high efficient acoustic
material, produced from strong resilient glass fibers firmly
bounded together with a thermosetting resin. (Standard
Baffle Thickness: 4 (100 mm)
Flanges : Galvanized Steel Angle securely spot welded & riveted to
the casing.
Flanges are pre-drilled and with sizes as follows:
a) For width sizes up to 30 : 1 x 1 x 1/8 thick (25mm
x 25mm x 3mm thick)
b) For width sizes 32 & above : 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/8
thick (38mm x 38mm x 3mm thick)
Finish : Mill Galvanized.

NOTE:
The above Sound Attenuator is locally fabricated in our workshop.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1) The prices are based on Ex-works basis and are subject to the
discount depending uponthe quantity and order value.

and non-standard sizes are available upon request.
3) Delivery: Standard sizes are available ex-stock in reasonable
quantity. For other sizes, factory confirmation is required.
4) Terms of Payment: Unless otherwise agreed, payment in full shall
be due for goods on notification by us, that they are ready for
dispatch.
