1. OBJETIVE
Carry out the corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance service on machinery and equipment installed in the
plant, in order to ensure their correct operation and keep them in safe operating conditions, in addition to maintaining
a safe stock in the supply of spare parts or parts.

2. SCOPE
This procedure applies to machinery and equipment that is installed within the company, as well as the requisition of
parts for the maintenance department.

3. RESPONSABILITIES
The responsibilities are described in point 5 of this procedure.
3.1 It is the supervisor's responsibility:
Ensure compliance with this procedure in each of the requirements.
3.2 It is the responsibility of the maintenance area:
Carry out the assigned tasks adequately, effectively and efficiently, taking care of the assigned resources.

4. DEFINITIONS
Multiwin = Eson Multiwin de México S.A de C.V.
MTTR = Average Time to Repair.
MTBF = Average Time Between Failures.
TPM = Total Preventive Maintenance.
IT= Word instruction.

5. PROCEDURE
5.1.1 The supervisor of the maintenance department is responsible for the proper implementation and monitoring of
this procedure.
5.1.2 The technicians will be responsible for performing the preventive maintenance service and have the responsibility
to comply with this procedure. The head of the production department (supervisors / leaders) will be responsible for
providing the equipment / machinery for their service based on the preventive and / or predictive maintenance
schedule.

5.1.3 The maintenance department supervisor will provide in advance (minimum one week). The program for the
operation plan of the equipment and machinery to the managers, production supervisors for their knowledge and
approval. The specific requirements of the client are taken into account for the development of the processes within
the maintenance area.
5.1.4 The production manager or supervisor has the power to stop the preventive and / or predictive maintenance
service to equipment and machinery due to over-production.
5.1.5 The maintenance supervisor will schedule the suspension of service to equipment and machinery for the next
dates. Any user who needs any corrective maintenance will be responsible for filling out the Maintenance request form
(MT-P01-F01).
Note: Before performing predictive, corrective, preventive maintenance or any repair, the safety instructions (MT-I01)
must be followed to avoid an accident.
5.1.6 The maintenance manager is responsible for the maintenance warehouse and for maintaining a safe stock of
critical parts as well as requiring them.
5.1.7 The maintenance supervisor has the responsibility for the control of equipment and tools provided by the
customer, used to automate, control, monitor or measure. The requirements must be defined by the client, if necessary
a periodic review of their conditions must be carried out for their preservation as appropriate.
5.1.8 The maintenance manager is responsible for the control and safeguarding of software used to automate, control,
monitor or measure as appropriate the set of programs.

5.2 Preventive maintenance.


5.2.1 For preventive maintenance, the maintenance department will be based on the annual calendar to execute the
activities listed therein.
5.2.2 In advance of one to two weeks, the Maintenance department will notify the production area to schedule timely
shutdowns of equipment or machinery requiring preventive maintenance as set out in the annual schedule. Only the
production supervisor or the assigned person may suspend the temporary use of the equipment or machinery.
5.2.3 Once the equipment or machinery is available for service, the maintenance department will proceed to review
the equipment according to the activities described in the calendar and type of machinery to be repaired or reviewed.
According to the type / family of equipment and area in which preventive maintenance will be carried out, the formats
to be used should be the following:

5.2.4 In the case of needing a spare part during the performance of the service and this is not available , the part will
be quoted according to the purchasing procedure (PU-P01) and the delay in maintenance shall be notified to production.
5.2.5 In the event that the production plan is adjusted and is not available for maintenance due to the Customer's
requirements, the maintenance department will evaluate whether the machinery and / or equipment can temporarily
operate in safe conditions.
5.2.6 At the end of the service, equipment and machinery will be put into operation for the final operation tests, this
to verify its optimal functioning and the corresponding format will be filled out as applicable in the calendar.

5.2.7 Annually the maintenance supervisor will check that the new equipment and Support equipment are within the
maintenance program.
5.2.8 In the preventive maintenance that includes review of the operation of the electric motors of the building, it is
recommended to use the visual aid MT-I07 as a reference to review said equipment.
5.3 Corrective maintenance
5.3.1 For the corrective maintenance of any machinery or equipment, the affected department must make a service
request using the format MT-P01-F01.
5.3.2 Once maintenance receives the request, it will be verified if appropriate and the supervisor assigns the technical
personnel to perform the service. In case the maintenance supervisor is not present, the maintenance leader together
with the assigned technician on duty will make all the pertinent decisions.
5.3.3 Before carrying out a corrective maintenance repair, the instructions MT-I01 must be followed to avoid any
accident during maintenance using the Warning format MT-I01-F01.
5.3.4 Once the service is finished, the technician will fill out the Maintenance requirement form (MT-P01-F01) in the
exclusive maintenance section and it will be filed for future reference.
5.3.5 For the location of leaks in the machines, the MT-P01-F22 format will be used to find where the problem is

5.4 Predictive Maintenance
5.4.1 For predictive maintenance, the department in charge shall be based on the annual maintenance schedule
according to the type of machinery. If necessary, 1 to 2 weeks in advance, the maintenance department will request the
production to stop the equipment to carry out predictive maintenance.
5.4.2 For oil analysis and certification of injection equipment, presses or any other type of machinery that uses oil,
samples will be sent to our external suppliers for analysis.
NOTE: If the results received from the oil indicate that they are out of specification the maintenance manager can make
a purchase requisition (PU-P01-F01). For the oil to be replaced immediately and to keep documented evidence of the
actions taken when this situation arises.
5.4.3 Before performing predictive maintenance, the Safety instructions (MT-I01) must be followed to avoid an
accident due to energizing equipment without authorization.
5.4.4 In case the production plan of the equipment is very tight and it is not available for maintenance due to customer
requirements, the maintenance department will evaluate whether the machine or equipment can temporarily operate
in safe conditions.
5.4.5 Once the equipment or machinery is already available for service, the maintenance department will proceed to
carry out the activities described in the annual maintenance plan of the equipment using the formats and work
instructions corresponding to its area and equipment, the formats are as applicable in the following list:

5.4.6 At the end of the service, the equipment will be put into operation for the final operational tests, this to check
the optimal operation of the equipment.
5.4.7 Once the maintenance has been carried out, the format MT-P01-F61 for predictive maintenance and MT-P01-
F62 for preventive injection, maintenance. Filled out, according to the activities described in the calendar and type of
machinery to be repaired.
5.4.8 In the event that a part of spare parts is needed during the service and this is not available, the part will be
quoted according to the Purchasing procedure PU-P01, and production will be notified of the delay in maintenance.

Note: If the required part is not available, the maintenance department will evaluate whether the machinery can be
temporarily operated in safe conditions until the part arrives for replacement.
5.4.9 It is recommended to carry out an annual shutdown, or scheduled maintenance shutdown once a year, to carry
out the activities described in the annual check lists MT-P01-F55, MT P01-F56, MT- P01-F57 AND MT-P01-F58 in
order to minimize downtime due to major equipment failures.
5.4.10 In the case when the semi-annual or annual review of predictive maintenance is carried out, the conclusive report
of the review must be made in the following format MT-P01-F60 Rev.00 for Stamping, MT-P01-F61 Rev-00 for Injection,
this way a much more accurate collection of the necessary data can be obtained in order to be able to schedule future
activities or repair the equipment.
5.5 Control of Parts.
5.5.1 For the control of exclusive parts or spare parts of the department, the formats “Control of part outputs” MT-
P01-F14 and “Warehouse control maintenance spare part” MT-P01-F12.
5.5.2 In the event that the stock of any part is insufficient, the said part will be quoted and purchased following the
purchasing procedure (PU-P01), this in order to maintain a stock that guarantees the performance of immediate
maintenance services.
5.5.3 Upon receipt of any part purchased by the purchasing department, the person in charge or assigned to maintain
the stock of spare parts will proceed to register it in the warehouse system, noting the required data in the format MT-
P01-F12.
5.5.4 The technician or person in charge of the control of parts must fill out the format MT-P01-F12 at the time of
leaving any part required or to be used, noting all the data required in the format and signing the exit of said part.
5.5.5 Once a month, an inventory of parts will be carried out, with will be registered in the format MT-P01-F63 “
Maintenance inventory” in which the inventory of the same will be kept .”Which will not be for print only digital”
