Consequent upon declaration of the NEET PG 2022 result by the National Board of
Examination (NBE) for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses 2022 on 01-06-2022 and for MDS
course 2022 on 27-05-2022, a tentative score list on the basis of NEET data received by
the BOPEE from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, was
notified vide Notification No. 050-BOPEE of 2022 dated 07-07-2022. All such candidates
belonging to UT of J&K / Ladakh who had appeared in NEET PG Courses 2022 but their
Roll Numbers did not figure in Annexure “A” or Annexure ‘’B’’ of the Notification No.
050-BOPEE of 2022 dated 07-07-2022 were asked to submit their all relevant
documents to the BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar physically upto 13-07-2022 and after
receipt of such documents from few candidates the Board included their Roll Numbers
in the list of candidates belonging to the UT of J&K/Ladakh and notified the list vide
Notice No. 023-BOPEE of 2022 dated 22-07-2022.
The Board vide Notification No. 060-BOPEE of 2022 dated 20-09-2022 after
notifying the schedule for online registration of eligible candidates of UT of J&K/ Ladakh
for preparation of the Provisional Merit List (PML), issued the Provisional Merit Lists,
vide Notification No. 66-BOPEE of 2022 dated 30-09-2022 of the candidates, who had
participated in the registration process and whose details are available in the Annexure
“A” , “B” & “C” of the said Notification for submission of objection, if any, against their
positions assigned to them in the list.
The Board received the deficient documents from few candidates in response to
Notification No. 066-BOPEE of 2022 dated 30-9-2022 and accordingly, prepared the
Rank-Wise Provisional Merit Lists (PML) of MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS 2022 Courses
of J&K/ Ladakh. The schedule for online counselling for submission of preferences for
allotment of college / courses w.e.f 08-10-2022 to 10-10-2022 (midnight) was notified
vide Notification No. 067-BOPEE of 2022 dated 04-10-2022 and after considering the
online preferences given by the candidates for various courses / seats / institutions,
and on the basis of the merit of the candidates read with the reservation rules and
other statutory orders on the subject, the Board has enlisted/selected the candidates
for provisional admission to the MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses 2022 in Government
Medical College Jammu, Government Medical College Srinagar, SKIMS-Srinagar and
ASCOMS-Jammu, list whereof is annexed as Annexure "A" to this Notification and
candidates provisionally selected for admission to MDS Course 2022 in GDC- Srinagar
and GDC-Jammu list whereof is annexed as Annexure “B” to this Notification. In case of
any information provided by the candidate(s) is proved to be false/fabricated/untrue at
any stage, the Board reserves the right to cancel the same and also take penal action, as
per relevant rules and also proceed against them in terms of SRO 158 (rule 12), which
interalia reads as under:-

"If at any stage it is detected by the Competent Authority or the Principal

of the Medical College concerned that any candidate has secured
admission to a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma Course by fraud,
concealment of facts or
mis-statement, the admission of the candidate shall stand cancelled and
such a candidate shall also stand debarred from seeking admission to any
Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Course in future and shall also be
liable to criminal proceedings."

The provisionally selected candidates are advised to report at the respective

colleges/Institution allotted to them from the date of issuance of this notification list for
1st Round of counselling w.e.f. 22nd October, 2022 to 25th October. 2022 (till 4.00 P.M)
positively. The candidates selected provisionally for admission to the courses/colleges
shall produce the following original documents with their photocopy to the college
authorities:-

(i) Matriculation Certificate;

(ii) MBBS/BDS Degree certificate;
(iii) Internship completion certificate;
(iv) MBBS/BDS Marks cards;
(v) NEET Result card (wherever applicable);
(vi) Domicile Certificate of candidates belonging to UT of J&K / Ladakh;
(vii) MCI/DCI J&K Medical/ Dental Counsel Registration Certificate);
(viii) Category certificate (wherever applicable);
(ix) Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS Degree from outside country to
enclose MCIclearance/recognition certificate;
(x) NOC for seeking admission to MD/MS/PGD and MDS Courses from the
competent authorityin case of in-service candidates;
(xi) Proof of Identity by way of Adhaar Card, Driving License, Passport or any
otherverification document of identity as may be accepted by the Institute;
(xii) Any other document(s) as may be deemed necessary by the College;
(xiii) The service bond to be submitted by the candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh which
shall be provided to them by the concerned Colleges / Institution.

The p ro vi siona l ly sel e cted candidates shall also give an affidavit to the
college/institution as per Annexure “C" to this Notification, interalia, on the following
lines:
 1. The information furnished by the candidate is correct and nothing has been
concealed/suppressed thereof;
2. In case any information proves to be wrong/false, the candidate shall be
personally responsible for the consequences including the cancellation of
his/her admission and the penalty as may be imposed upon him/her by the
Board/Institution concerned in terms of SRO 158 of 1995 read with SRO 168 of
2014 mentioned in the preceding paras or any other law;
3. The candidate is not pursuing any MD/MS/PGD and MDS Course in any
institution of the UT of J&K and if pursuing outside, has obtained NOC from the
concerned University/Institution;
4. The candidate has not taken admission in MD/MS/PGD and MDS Course in the
Medical Colleges/Institutions in the UT of J&K during the last three or two years
(as the case may be) and has not resigned/left the course midway;
5. The candidate has completed Rotatory Internship by or before 31st July 2022 and
in case the same has not been completed by the said date, the candidate shall
not be eligible for admission;

The provisionally selected candidates shall:-

i) have to report to the college/institution, immediately and latest by 25th of

October, 2022 till 4:00 PM, so that the requisite formalities are completed by
selectedcandidates;
ii) have to join the college/institution compulsorily and any candidate who fails to
join the college/course against the seat so allotted shall not be eligible for
subsequent rounds of counseling for admission against the vacancies, which may
become available due to non-joining etc. in accordance with the conditions
contained in the Information Brochure. Further, such candidates who stake a claim
for betterment of the seat, if available, shall also have to mandatorily join the
College/Institute/Course first and then stake a claim for upgradation or
otherwise in terms of detailed conditions contained in the Information Brochure,
which shall be considered in accordance with merit-cum-preferences of the
candidates and the conditions contained therein;

The college/institute shall note the following:-

i) It shall be the sole responsibility of the College / Institutions concerned to

ensure proper check and verification of documents / eligibility as per guidelines
issued by MCI / NMC/ DCI before the candidate is allowed for admission and in
case of any discrepancy in the requisite documents, the same shall be reported
to the Board for further course ofaction under rules.
ii) In order to complete admission process within the prescribed cut-off date the
 Colleges / Institutions shall keep their admission counters open even on holidays
/ off days / Sundays, if any, and designate Nodal Officer to facilitate the
candidates to complete their admission process well in time and submit the
details of the candidates who have not joined/vacant seats latest by 25th
October. 2022 (till 5.00 PM) to enable the Board to fill vacant seats as per rules
and under subsequent rounds of counselling for vacant seats. However, the
candidates should in their own interest avoid waiting for the last day to
complete admission formalities since delay has the potential of causing
hardships to the candidates only.

Further, as per Rule 15 of SO 127 dated 20.04.2020 (Children of Defence Personnel

(CDP) / Para Military Force and State Police Personnel (JKPM) is a clubbed category
having 2% reservation quota and accordingly one seat of MD/MS in CDP Category
has been blocked during first round of counselling as the matter is subjudice in the
Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh.

1. Candidates should go carefully through E- Information Brochure, regarding
procedure and eligibility for participation in the second round of counseling.

 Note: The above unfilled reserved category seats along-with the seats, if any, received as
shortfall shall be filled up in 2nd round of councelling for a separate notification shall be issued by
the Board and the candidates are advised to remain in touch with website of the Board
www.jkbopee.gov.in for day to day updates.
The Annexure “A”, “B” & “C” of this notification shall be available on the website of the
Board only.
This provisional selection /admission notification shall be without any prejudice and subject
tofinal outcome of the writ petition(s), pending, if any, before any competent Court of Law.
The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as contained in the E- Information
Brochure, Notifications and Notices issued by the Board issued from time to time in this regard.

1. I have been selected by the J&K BOPEE for admission in the MD/MS/PGD and
MDS 2022 in discipline vide

am conscious of the rules and regulations governing the selection of candidates for
such admissions. I am also conscious that I shall be responsible for the
consequences, if this information submitted by me at an stage proves to be false,
concealed or incorrect, including cancellation of my admission and the action as
may be taken by the BOPEE in accordance with rule 12 of SRO 158 read with SRO
168 of 2014.
2. I further solemnly affirm that:
(i) I am not pursuing any MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS Course in any
college/institution of the UT of J&K nor am I pursuing the same outside the UT of
J&K in any college/institution. Further I have not taken admission in any
college/institution of the UT of J&K during last three years and have not resigned
or left the course midway.
(ii) I am pursuing PG Course outside the UT of J&K and have obtained NOC from the
concerned University/Institution for pursuing of PG Course in the UT of J&K and
rules of the said Institution do not debar me from pursuing the PG.
