➢ PROFESSOR & HOD from APRIL 2020 - Till date: Spearheading departmental activities
including subject allocation, academic monitoring, timetable allocation and other
administrative responsibilities.
➢ NBA, Chief Coordinator: Evaluation of all NBA criteria’s. Guided every department to
.
understand and prepare documents as per the NBA guidelines. Closely monitored the work
progress and identified the gap areas for quality improvement and suggested the same to the
higher authorities for necessary actions.
➢ Lab in Charge, Department of EECE: Coordinated all the individual lab incharges and too
initiatives to efficiently run the lab for productive usage. Identified lab requirements and
worked in all process of upgrading and servicing of equipments.
➢ IQAC In charge, GITAM School of Technology: Coordinate and monitor IQAC related works
and guide all departments in GST, Bangalore to adhere to IQAC guidelines.
➢ Teaching and Mentoring: Actively involved in teaching learning process. Mentor students in project
and research activities. Obtained a student feedback of 100% during AY 2019-2020
➢ Research: Published 15 SCI/SI journals under GITAM affiliation and presently guiding 4 research
scholars, in the area of MEMS, HEMT and semiconductor devices.

➢ Instrumental in achieving NBA for three departments consecutively for the second time.
➢ Got recognized as a research centre under Anna University to pursue research activities for
ECE,CSE and EEE domain.
➢ Generated University rank holders in almost all the departments.
➢ Introduced free higher education coaching services to eligible student communities from
rural areas.
➢ Collaborated with NJIT USA, TIT Japan and NCTU Taiwan fro student exchange program and
research activities.
➢ Successful in generating University Gold Medallist from the department in ME VLSI Design,
Anna University.
➢ Provided guidance to students to pursue higher studies in NCTU Taiwan through student
exchange program.
➢ Organized Conferences, seminars, workshops and FDPs for the quality improvement of
research and teaching community.
➢ Being Chair of IEEE EDS Madras section, introduced IEEE Student branch and initiated
technical activities for better exposure.
➢ As a departmental head for NAAC and NBA, created a systematic approach for smooth
accreditation activities which got translated to NBA recognition continuously for two times
for a period of three years and NAAC for 5 years.

of two months.
➢ Established Research centre (CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE IN VLSI & NANO-ELECTRONICS)-
Established a centre for excellence in the field of VLSI and Nano technology at a cost of One
Crore Rupees in S.K.P Engineering College. Tiruvannamalai.
➢ Institution collaboration with international research labs (MOU) -MOU with Frontier Research Labs
of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan with S.K.P Engineering College in November - 2009 &MOU
with New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey, USA with S.K.P Engineering College in
Decemeber-2010.
➢ Served as a Head of Department PG Studies (ME–VLSI Design and ME–Applied Electronics)
