I. Introduction
Position and Motion Sensor have been great part of our daily since the
beginning of Automation Era it is said that the start of automation era started
when the manufacturing company started producing their product in mass
automation.
Position sensors are tools that can track an object's motion or calculate its
relative position when compared to a predetermined reference point. These
kinds of sensors can also be used to determine if an object is there or not.
There are various other sensor kinds that are noteworthy and have
comparable functions to position sensors. Motion sensors can be used to take
action when they detect an object moving (such as illuminating a floodlight or
activating a security camera). Additionally, proximity sensors are capable of
detecting when an object enters their detection range. Therefore, one may
classify both sensors as a particular type of position sensor. Our associated
guides on proximity sensors and motion light sensors have more information
on these sensors.
One distinction with position sensors is that they are for the most part
concerned with not only the detection of an object but also with the recording
of its position and therefore involve the use of a feedback signal that contains
positional information.
There are two types of motion sensors: active motion sensors and passive
motion sensors. The most common type of active motion detector uses
ultrasonic sensor technology; these motion sensors emit sound waves to
detect the presence of objects. There are also microwave sensors (which
emit microwave radiation), and tomographic sensors (which transmit and
receive radio waves).

II. Mode of Operation
Inkjet printers each feature a print head containing thousands of tiny holes.
These tiny openings drop microscopic droplets of ink onto the paper in the
printer at a speed.
Inkjet printers use a liquid ink that is either created by a colored dye or a liquid
that has suspended solid pigments. The paper travels through the machine
perpendicular to the print head as it moves horizontally. A little drop of ink is
forced out onto the page as the print head's individual holes are triggered as
the page passes through (often by heat, depending on the manufacturer). The
digital text or image that is being transferred onto the media is recreated
throughout this procedure at rapid speed using thousands of droplets that
come together. Because of how little the dots are, the whole image appears
solid to the unaided eye.

Inkjet Printer Diagram and Sensor
This sensor main detects the program distance set by the computer that is
being transmitted to the printer it helps locate the position and distance that
the arm of the pen will have to travel for it to make an output.

One side is an infrared emitter (which is why you can't see it--Infrared light is
not visible to the naked eye) and the other side is the infrared receiver. The
tape has very small stripes on it, through which light cannot pass. When this
stripe blocks the IR light from the emitter, the receiver does not see it. When
the tape continues to move, the clear portion of the tape eventually passes
through. The light is then seen by the IR receiver, and the circuit can tell that
the tape has moved.
I would expect the two-lead part to be the emitter and the 4-lead part to be the
receiver.

A radar speed gun, also known as a radar gun or speed trap gun, is a tool for
determining how fast something is traveling. It is frequently used in
professional spectator sport to measure things like cricket bowling speeds,
baseball pitching speeds, and tennis serves. It is also used by law
enforcement to assess the speed of moving cars.

Velocity Radar Gun
Radar sensors are conversion devices that transform microwave echo signals
into electrical signals. They use wireless sensing technology to detect motion
by figuring out the object's position, shape, motion characteristics, and motion
trajectory.

Here in this metallic box lies the microwave transmitter and receiver that will
send microwave through the object in the distance that is being observe then,
the microwave comeback the microprocessor will process the data that will be
display in the LED display.
