Meeting Summary:
1. Review of Existing Policy Guidelines:
 Reading of Department Order No. 14, s.2023, emphasis of the most essential items
like definition of terms and policy statement, teacher training, procedure and
assigning and incentivizing NLC Teachers.
2. Compliance Review:
 The School Principal discussed the importance of compliance to the subject order for
learning recovery and how each volunteer teacher is vital to the success of the NLC
program. She encouraged the teachers to volunteer, and all teachers were enticed to
join for professional development and for the incentives to be received like service
credits and cash allowance.
3. Implementation Planning
 Volunteer teachers are assigned for the three covered subject areas, Math, English
and Science for Grades 7 and 8 Camp.
 Encourage Grade 7 and 8 learners to participate. Brainstorming on strategy to
encourage the said students.
 Support from the community will be sought through personal contact with the
stakeholders and possible donors.
Action Items:
 Prepare letters for NLC potential donors.
 Assignment of Teachers in the different activities.
 Prepare activities for recorida
