JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DAILY OPERATION ACTIVITIES:


 Act as per the CCR / Supervisor Instruction.
 Carry out Isolate and De-Isolate as per the permit.
 Monitoring all the Field process parameters.
 Routine checks the chemical rate.
 Take reading and record in the Log Sheet periodically (Level, Temp, Flow )
 Collecting oil/gas samples plant/well head.
 Carry out routine checks the process equipments. If any abnormalities condition
immediately inform to CCR for prompt action (Compressor or Pumps etc...)
 Meet the running equipments change over schedule and record properly.
 Troubleshooting all type of Field process equipment.
 Operating in the LCP/UCP/ PLC panel, Follow all Permit work system
 Maintain the logbook and Co-ordinating with the Panel operator and supervisor during
the emergency shutdown or planned long shutdown and during the start-up

OIL AND GAS GATHERING STATIONS:

production manifolds, HP, MP, & LP separators (Two/Three Phase) Heat Exchanger, Surge
tank ,Step iced oil pump, Export oil Tank, Booster Pumps, Crude oil Transfer Pumps, Chemical
Injection, Oil/gas line pig launcher& Receiver, Slug Catcher, HP&LP Knockout Drum, routine
sampling of Oil. Inter-stage Scrubbers, oil heat Treatment, Gas Dehydration unit, Glycol
Regeneration Unit, Oil/Gas Export.

COMMISSIONING /START –UP AND NORMAL OPERATION:

Carry out Air Blowing, Water Flushing, Leak test, Box-up, Re-Instatement, Pigging, Dry-
Out, N2 Leak Test, N2 purging, Inerting, line up. Vessels and Tanks, if Necessary,
Confined Space entry, Punch List Preparation as per P&ID, Punch List Checking and
Clearing with Civil and Maintenance Team Crews, Following OTP (Operational Test
Procedures), Test Run and Solo Run and Following Rotary Equipment’s (Pumps and
Compressors) Functional Test, Performance Test of all equipments, Following Start-up
and Shut-down Procedures as per Requirements, and Following all kind of Work Permit
Systems, Strictly and Carefully.

PROCESS OPERATION:
Familiar with oil/gas manifold operation. Operation and maintenance of separator and
handling, HP, MP, LP- Production & Test separator 2 phase & 3 Phase Separator (Gas oil &
water). PCV, LCV, PSV, bypassing opening and closing, Calculation of Oil flow rates &
Dispatch to DPR from log sheets. Heat Exchanger operation, Booster pump operation
(centrifugal pump) Pumping Crude from sump cession. Smooth Operation and maintenance
of process plant instruments .BS&W Checking, Crude Oil & Condensate are storing and
dispatch to consumers. Sample collection of oil and Gas Wells. Oil and condensate drain
system open/closed. Preparing Pig Receiver and Launcher station and Pigging Stations.
Isolation and De-isolation of equipment, Vessels and Tanks for Maintenance. Calculation
of Oil flow rates & Dispatch to DPR from log sheets.

CENTRAL PRODUCTION FACILITY & TANK FARM:


Receiving Crude from different Gathering Stations, HP&MP&LP Separators , Transfer
Pumps, Dehydration Tank, Heat Exchangers, Demulsified injection, Reveres demulsify,
other chemicals, Desalting Crude through electric desolaters, Firewater pumps, Pig
Launching and Receiving (Foam, Scraper, Cup and Intelligent), Storage tank operations,
Produced Water Tank, Skimmer Tank, preparation of Daily Production Reports (Gas, oil &
water), Emergency procedures, Test run for the standby equipment as per the schedule,
Export Oil Tank change over, Tank level and pressure, temp maintaining, Isolations and De-
isolation of equipment for maintenance, familiar with work permit systems, Isolation
procedures and co-ordination with the maintenance crew, trouble shooting reports, Co-
coordinating with the Panel operator and supervisor during the emergency shutdown or
planned long shutdown and during the start up of the plant

GAS DEHYDRATION & REGENERATION UNIT:


Natural Gas Dehydration, lean Glycol, Glycol flash dram operation, Glycol filter, Charcoal
filter, Coal scar filter operation. Plat type heat exchanger, Re- boiler, Glycol Booster Pump
Operations. All filter changing Glycol Pumping, Glycol Storage tank level, Temperature
maintaining, taking of plant shutdown and startup operation

WELL HEAD OPERATIONS:


Operation of X-MAS tree, Actuator operated Master Valve and wing valve, SSSV, annulus
pressure bleeding operation, Flow line choke changing and adjusting, FTHP well
equalizing, Gas lift injection Wells, Water injection wells, Test separator handling, Well
testing, Orifice changing in the flow lines (Oil, Gas, & Water ), Flow and pressure
recording, Isolation and hand over wells to well services for perforation, Well Down hole
pressure analysis and Valve leakage testing, Corrosion Inhibitor Injection and the chemical
injection etc.

WATER INJECTION UNIT:


To inject high pressure water into Well reservoir for maintaining the well pressure. The
high pressure water from the outlet of water injection unit will be used for this purpose.
Booster Pump and Centrifugal pump operation. Antifoam, Scale inhibitor, operations and
taking readings about the current status.

GAS FIELD EXPERIENCE:

Gas Sweetening Unit(Amine Process)


Methyl Diethanol Amine (MDEA) is used to absorb the H 2S from the sour gas. It consists of two
sections; Absorption section is Amine Contactor and Amine regeneration section. Operation
and control of the Absorber, Knock Out Drum, Heat Exchangers and maintain the MDEA temp.
Control the level of rich amine flash drum, Rich / Lean Amine exchanger, Regenerator, Control
the lean amine flash drum, operation of vapour compressors, and Reflux pumps.

GAS DEHYDRATION UNIT (GLYCOL UNIT :

The dehydration consists of two sections. 1. Dehydration section and 2. Glycol Regeneration
section. Natural gas from HP, test separator constitutes feed to gas Dehydration system.
Glycol purification, Glycol Regeneration, Natural Gas dehydration, Coalescer separator, Glycol
contactor, Glycol Recovery scrubber, Re-boiler, Burner Reflux coil, Glycol Flash Drum, Charcoal
Filter, Lean / Rich Glycol exchange, Glycol storage tank, Three way valve, Glycol Booster and
circulation pump operation Glycol pumped in the system and also the pH valve checking at
Glycol, Fuel gas, Pilot gas, Blanket gas and stripping gas operation.

DEW POINT DEPRESSION UNIT:


The sweet and dehydrated gas is feeding the dew pilot depression unit in order to avoid
condensation in the pipeline, so the heavy hydrocarbons need to be removed. It consists of two
sections. Chill down section and Propane refrigeration section, Operation of the heat
exchangers, Gas Chillers, Filter separators, Condensate transfer pumps, Propane compressors,
knock out drums and Propane accumulators.
UTTILITY OPERATION:
Instrument Air & plant Air compressor, (Centrifugal type & Reciprocating) Mobil Air
compressor, Portable water System, Fire Water system. Power Generator operation.
