Law has been defined as “a body of rules of action or conduct prescribed by a controlling authority, and having
binding legal force. That which must be obeyed and followed by citizens subject to sanctions or legal consequence is
a law. Why do we have so many laws? In our society, the law informs everyday life in a wide variety of ways and is
reflected in numerous branches, let’s take a closer look at the role of law in society and why laws are created in the
first place.

I. OBJECTIVES

 Compare and contrast Natural Law and Man-made


Law
 Analyze the present laws pertaining to the youth
whether it is in consonance with the Natural Laws
 Explain how each law satisfies the needs of the
people and uplifts human dignity

II. VALUES INTEGRATION

 The students shall always put in mind to be obedient in all existing laws to help orderliness in the
society.

A. DISCUSSION

You will understand that laws can be natural or man-made and they are important in
achieving peace and order and promotion of human rights.

ACTIVITY 1: vlog watching activity-Zoom


Direction: Watch vlogs that shows different examples of laws in the community. Examine whether the
mentioned laws are man –made or natural.

C. APPLICATION
Activity 2: Man-made Law vs. Natural Laws Worksheet

Direction: Answer the worksheet below. Differentiate man-made laws from natural laws and give
example as of existing laws for each category.

Direction: identify the type of law characterized by each of the following conditions. Input only the
