EN 2 Additional Parameter Information
P205-206-209-210-213-214 These parameters set the valves changeover time when elec-
tric changeover valve have been installed and standard
Changeover valve time to another fuel changeover type has been selected.
Set the changeover time as required to have a smooth
changeover; the right time is function of temperature ramp, fuel
consumption and total fuel volume and may vary for each in-
stallation and running conditions.
As general rule, valves time can be changed as below.
Changeover from HFO to MGO:
• If viscosity increases too much, reduce valve time.
• If viscosity decreases too much, increase valve time.
Changeover from MGO to HFO:
• If viscosity increases too much, increase valve time.
• If viscosity decreases too much, decrease valve time.
See Operating Instructions booklet for further details about the
changeover procedure.
P207-211-215-920-930-940-950 These factory set installation parameters set the minimum time
required by the valve to completely move.
Run time
Run time is used to calculate the right waiting time between
one pulse and the other to respect the changeover time.
P220-P235-P250-P265-P320 These string parameters are used to name each fuel. Maxi-
Fuel ID Name mum 7 alphanumeric characters can be used.
P221-236-251-266-321 These parameters are used by the system to detect if the fuel
is a light or a heavy fuel:
Reference temperature for base viscosity
• 40 °C: light fuel
• 50 °C: heavy fuel
A wrong setup of this parameter can affect temperature com-
pensation for density and, as consequence, viscosity measure-
ment.
P226-P241-P256-P271 Set the value of these parameters according to fuel oil analysis
to compensate the density’s influence on the viscosity meas-
Fuel density urements.
NOTE
Wrong setting of density parameter may cause inaccurate viscosity
measurement.
Kinematic viscosity (cSt) is directly measured only using EVT30D,
Viscomaster or HFVM-B sensors.
If EVT 30, Viscomaster Dynamic or HFVM-R sensors have been
installed, kinematic viscosity (cSt) is a ratio between dynamic
viscosity (cP) and density (kg/m3).

Additional Parameter Information 2 EN
P231-P246-P261-P276 When the system is set in temperature control mode, these parameters
are used as target temperature.
Temperature set point value
• Set parameters value to the required injection temperature.
When the system is set in viscosity control mode, the temperature set
point value is used as final temperature for the temperature ramp.
• Set these parameters according to the fuel oil chart value for set vis-
cosity to make sure that the temperature ramp is correctly handled.
NOTE
Wrong temperature set point may generate alarms when viscosity
control is used.
P229-230-244-245-259-260-274-275-329-330 Viscosity limits for each fuel are meaned as viscosity difference
with set point.
Fuel Viscosity limits
The absolute viscosity for the limits is to be intended as Vis-
cosity set point ± viscosity limits.
For example:
• P228 Fuel 1 Viscosity set point is 12cSt.
• P229 Fuel 1 Viscosity high limit is +5°C that means 17cSt
as absolute value.
• P230 Fuel 1 Viscosity Low limit is -5°C that means 7cSt as
absolute value.
NOTE
When the stand-by pump has been started due to a fault condition,
the operating pump will be locked and the parameter automatically
will change in order to disable the pump. The faulty pump will be red
highlighted on HMI screen; when the pump will be ok, put the
parameter back to enable the pump as stand-by pump (thus No 1
running, No 2 stand-by).
