Lenskart is looking for an enthusiastic Tele/Chat sales Representative to contribute in generating sales for their
company. He/ She will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer
relationships.
An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must
be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.
Responsibilities:
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using
scripts
Answer questions about products or the company
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
Enter and update customer information in the database
Take and process orders in an accurate manner
Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone

houses.
1000+ stores in 250+ odd cities pan India (including tier 2 and 3
citiess) as centers for people to get their eyes checked and
book orders online as well as get their post-sale adjustments
done.
• Home trial service in over 50 cities that allow people to try frames for free before
purchase.
• Network of Affiliate Doctors who place orders for their
consumers online on the Lenskart platform.
Majority of Lenskart eye-frames and prescription lenses are designed in-house and
come to consumer directly from manufacturing to retail. Post a spectacle order is
received, each frame is individually fitted.
Including the latest round, Lenskart has now raised INR 700 Crores from investors
namely, TPG Growth; Ronnie Screwvala-led Unilazer Ventures; IDG Ventures India and
International Finance Corp. Ratan Tata, Chairman
Emeritus of the Tata Group and Kris Gopalakrishnan, former Chief Executive of
Infosys, have also invested in the company, in their personal capacities.
