1. Scope/Objectives
This method statement is to detail & to establish sequence of activities to carryout changing
the orientation of the placing boom opening in NW3 tower.

Access to the work place will be through designated and exit pathway.

requirement.

6. Responsibilities/Supervision
6.1 Project Engineer:
 Shall be responsible to organize required machinery, material, man power to engineers
/ supervisor & foreman for effectively executing the work in a safe manner.
 To clarify any discrepancies in the work.
6.2. Site Engineer / Foreman:
 To execute the work as per Project Engineers instructions with the right methodology &
in a safe manner.

 Make sure that all the works are completed prior to offering for inspections.
 To execute the works as per approved method statements.
 To attend all the comments made by Consultant at the time of inspection.
 Ensure the workers PPE, sufficient lighting.
6.3. QA / QC Engineer:
 To check the work is carried out as per the approved method statement.
 To ensure all approved materials are being used
 To raise the W.I.R. after co-ordination with Project Engineer.
6.4. Safety Personal:
 To advice Project Engineer/Site Engineer & foreman regarding the Safety precautions to be
taken and check for the safety implementations to execute the work.
 Ensure close monitoring of the activity
7 Sequence/Method to be Employed
 Marking will be made on the B1 lift lobby slab for changing the orientation of the placing
boom as per the attached hand sketch .
 The concrete in the marked area will be chipped with the chipping machine and the steel in
the chipped area will be cut by grinder .
 Back propping will be provided for this activity as per the approved method statement for
the placing boom TS-ABM-CIV-MS-0219.
 The drilled edges will be rectified with the approved concrete repair material Master Emaco
S423 as per the TS-ABM-CIV-MS-0269.
