    TITLE OF THE PAPER: awareness regarding menstrual hygiene

    Processing

    The Chairperson welcomed the resource persons and group members to the first session of the
    group conference. The Chairperson introduced the presenter, recorder and herself.

    The Chairperson gave brief introduction of the nipun(nihal vihar ) .The Chairperson invited the
    presenter to take over the paper. The presenter introduced and explains about the agency, their
    mission and vision.

    Introduction

    Established in 22 Feb, 2005

    ‘NIPUN’ – a hindi word, meaning ‘ one who is skilled’ is non Government organization founded
    primarily to enhance quality Of life of the poor and the vulnerable ,by group of socially Conscious
    development workers in 2005. Children and adult Forming a priority category. Pre , Non- formal
    and Remedial Schools, Community Health Programmes , HIV/Aids and Promotion of self -help
    group from it’s major strategies.
    Point of Discussion

    1. What do you mean by word ‘sona’?


    2. From where it is funded?
    3. What do you mean by word poor and vulnerable, is it synonym or you are using it
    differently .
    4. How can you say that pads are more better than cotton cloth ?
    5. Why did you not introduce menstrual cups in the session ?
    6. Did you gave information about how to use pads in the session ?
    7. Review your administrative setup?
    8. What type of work your organization is doing with municipal cooperation?
    9. How many people they targeted in vocational training centre and how much they achiev?
    10. Is there any problem regarding carrying pads or they have problem in disposing off ,did
    they discuss about these problem ?
    11. You did any eyes breaking activity ?
    12. Where you take session it is an closed area or open area ?

    Suggestion

    1.suggest cotton pads at the place of ordinary pads .you can teach them how to make pads in
    vocational training classes

    2.now onwards firstly understand them , provide comfort, maintain confidentiality then take
    session regarding issues like this .

    3.more focus on youth and do eyes breaking and take session with boys so they can understand.

    4.in tutorial classes ,you can teach or provide education .

    5.provide awareness more and more awareness.

    6.make audience comfortable ,do proper planning ,invest time in planning do research start with
    their understanding, communication indirect and be sensitive in the session .

    7.study the term cultural competence as a barrier in the society ,build repo building ,identify needs
    resources , use play cards ,flash cards Or you can do play .
