Activities Before we start to our lesson for today, may
I request everybody to stand up for our

SORTING AND CLASSIFYING


- Is arranging things into groups or
categories based on what they are
alike.

Again, when we want to arrange things into


groups based on what they are alike, what
should we do?

We have to sort and classify it based on


what they are alike.

That’s right!

Just like what we did before.

You are categorizing objects.

In the first group, the things that fit in their


space provided are colors.

And in the second group will be the foods.

BASIC CATEGORIES- the group of
things or objects that has same in
characteristic.

categories?

The examples are;

is identify if what category it belong.

You have to raise a color when you think it


belong to a category of color, and same as
foods and shapes.
